My name is Lisette, my son Elian David was born in Puerto Rico with Esophageal atresia; a rare birth defect where part of his esophagus did not develop (the tube that connects the mouth to the stomach). We urgently need to travel to Boston for a surgery to repair his esophagus! Our health insurance does not cover any procedures in the US and we do not have the required money to help our son Elian.  

Your donation will be used for travel, lodging, medical charges and any other expenses for our son during his treatment.  We are hoping that with your help we will have Elian playing around the house, like any other child in the near future.
