Please help our furbaby Achilles! After getting his tail jammed in a door today he needs emergency surgery to have it amputated tomorrow at 7am at our local Vet at Chancellor Animal Hospital! His bone is sticking out and is in severe pain.

Achilles had a major accident today where his tail got caught in our swinging door that leads from the living room to the kitchen. If you look you can see his bone is actually popping out. Of course, as parents, we stopped everything we were doing and rushed to the vet. Both of us were frantic and shaken up. We didn't know what to do or what was going to happen.

Close up of tail, and bone

As per the vet at Chancellor Animal Hospital an emergency amputation of part of his tail must be done tomorrow  at 7AM. He is wearing a bitenot collar so he won't bite or lick it. They gave us an estimate of $300, depending on if there are complications (which we are not anticipating & keeping a positive mind). At the moment we are unable to pay for this surgery due to rocky  financial times. The hospital is trying to give us the lowest price possible based on our financial circumstances. We know for a fact that other facilities would have charged us way more, so we are beyond grateful. We have the receipt from today posted as well as surgery instructions. Also posted is a clear picture of Achilles's injury. If you have any questions or perfer to send a payment straight to the hospital their contact info is listed below: (Please mention it is for Achilles amputation surgery).
