Our City – Our Decisions

I am running because I feel it’s time for our Council to listen and engage with the Citizens of Nanaimo because this is, “Our City” and these are “Our Decisions” that we need to make together to make Nanaimo the prosperous city it can be.

The City of Nanaimo has all walks of life living here, old, young, families and in decision making we need to make sure we keep everyone in mind and listen to everyone.

My generation was raised being told that it will be our responsibility to deal with issues like decaying city infrastructure, the growing debt, the lack of affordable housing, and climate change. Well I say, let us start to deal with them.

We can no longer be the “leaders of tomorrow.” We must be the leaders of today, because the issues cannot wait.

Nanaimo is where I call home, where I want to start a family, have my career here and be proud to wake up every day knowing I live in a great city because we know the Governance at City Hall is taking care of business with Councillors like myself.

I am not running to preach, I’m running to represent you, I want to be able to meet as many people during the Campaign and hear their thoughts on our beautiful City, this campaign isn’t about me, it’s about NANAIMO.

On November 15th we get to elect 8 City Councillors who will serve a four year term on making Nanaimo a better place to live, better place for businesses to come and a safer community for all.

On November 15th, if you believe that we need a fresh face on Council who is ready to listen, engage and communicate then please vote Tali CAMPBELL.
