I have an idea to sell products through individuals instead of selling through retail and the Internet.

The very early stage idea is, if you take the retail rents out of the equation you can sell a high quality product very inexpensively.

I'd rather pay regular people to sell products to their friends and through connects then pay a landlord and have to charge a huge price to consumers.

The same goes for the Internet. I love the Internet and I will sell on the Internet too. The only thing with that is the cost of mailing things back and forth, digital marketing and online advertising.

I'd rather research product by product and find the highest quality merchandise at the lowest prices. I will offer customers the opportunity to purchase American made and overseas.

As I locate various products with a high demand, I will distribute them to people who want to earn money selling them. In a perfect world the plan is to find products that really move. For example, socks.

Let's say a pack of 6 or 12 dress socks sells for $7 or $10 in a store. Or a lot more.

The question is how much does that pack of socks really cost wholesale?

Let's say we can get that pack of socks, either dress socks or sports socks, for $1. We sell it to our salespeople for $2 and they sell it for $3. Of course, all information is subject to change, including numbers, I'm just giving an example.

Now people start to find out this person has packs of black dress socks and white and black sports socks for sale at less than half or half the cost of stores. I have a feeling it's going to be less than half. Also, the quality has to be close to equal (and sometimes better) or it doesn't work.

Socks is just one product. The plan is to research hundreds and thousands of products that people can store at their homes and sell.

This can be people's full time job or something they do part time. Instead of selling whatever else, you can now push socks and other legal products.

Before I even start moving towards first base, I will have attorneys making sure we do everything by the book and cover all bases. As with anything I will try to limit my liability as much as possible.

There are lots of additional products I can think of, I will add them later. Use your imagination.

Take the retail and some of the middlemen out of it and sell quality products for a lot less. Also, provide jobs or help people set up their own companies to sell the merchandise.

I'd rather help a bunch of independent sales people than help a billionaire landlord get richer. No offense. I'm all about karma and helping people.

Once I build up a network of people to sell the merchandise and a reputation, I have a feeling companies will be fronting me their products for dirt cheap to sell through my network.
