Within the last month we have taken on 3 major medical cases.
The first is Juliet, she was hit by a car and her Pelvis was
shattered. She also has heartworms, She is doing well but needs
surgery, we have to wait to do surgery until the heartworms are
treated so it will be safe to sedate her. The cost for the Heartworm
treatment and the surgery is about $1700.00
Trinity was found in pretty bad shape, she required a blood
transfusion in order to save her life. She has hardley anyteeth and a
hole in her mouth. She is so very sweet, but needs special food. It is
going to cost $700 to get her ready for a new home. 
The next one is Jeanie, her owner died and the family was going to give her to a person who was going to use her as a bait dog. A kind neighbor learned this and convinced the family to let us have her and find her a home instead. When we got her here, fleas where sucking the life out of her. It also appears her life was not so good, her jaw and face were broken and her muzzle is crooked and her bite is off making it hard for her to eat hard food. We have her on a special diet as well to help her gain strength. It appears that she has been severly abused. The cost for her is around $600.00
