Hi! I’m Mike — filmmaker, marathon runner, and dreamer.
I’m raising funds to make my first Canadian short film, and I hope you'll join me on this journey.

✨ What’s the film about?

"God Speed" is a poetic, cinematic story about a man stuck in routine — until something mysterious and luminous appears in his life and gently pulls him out of his shell. It’s a film about transformation, connection, and the light we carry inside.

The main character is a runner — just like me. But this film isn’t only about running. It’s about daring to change, even when it’s scary.

📍Why this matters to me

I moved to Canada after the war began in Ukraine and had to start over. I’ve worked as a director on popular TV shows back home — but here, I’m building a new life and career from the ground up.

This short film is my first Canadian project, and I want it to be a beautiful beginning.

We’ve already raised $2,000 of our $10,000 goal, and we’re deeply grateful. Every contribution brings us closer to production.
