The Project in its Context
The Philippines, one of the fastest growing economies in Asia, sees the vital role of Science in its pursuits of achieving its national and regional development goals.
With the growing number of middle-income families in the Philippines, preference and demand in the study of Science-based education has been growing in the last few years. However, Science-based education in the basic education level is limited and mainly exclusive to scholars. Open and unrestricted access to Science education has been a challenged for there are no private service providers. EINSTEIN School of Sciences intends to fill and bridge this gap.
The institutional mission of EINSTEIN is to equitably provide an open and non-restricted access to quality and affordable Science education in order to produce graduates who are competent and confident to take up medical, engineering , IT and other Science-related courses in higher education; graduates who possessed work-ready and entrepreneurial skills; and graduates with high sensed of professional ethics and community service.
EINSTEIN envisions itself as the leading premiere private science school in Mindanao and throughout the Philippines islands which will be achieved through quality teaching-learning; innovative research-based Science projects; community engagements; and national-international accreditation specifically with NIE (National Institute of Education) in Singapore. Institutional growth will be achieved and sustained through corporate expansion mainly through national franchising after three years of streamlined operation.
What We Need
Required Capital Outlay:
70 Million PhP or 1.4 Million USD
Minimum Investment:
350,000 PhP or 7,000 USD or equivalent to .5% share of equity stocks
Resources to be acquired:
- School land acquisition (Davao Central Business District) and building construction (800,000 USD)
- School facilities acquisition (Science laboratories; learning spaces; IT equipment) (300,000 USD)
- CAPEX or Seed fund (Government licenses and permit processing; curriculum and instructional materials development; accreditation-local, national and international) (100,000 USD)
- OPEX –buffer or Growth fund for three years of operation (hiring, marketing, training, salary and allowances of staff) (200,000 USD)
What You Get
We will ship your certificate of investment, a set of EINSTEIN stationary, and EINSTEIN shirt. On top of that, you will get back your total investment with 3% compounded interest annually at the end of the fifth year of school operation or alternatively a convertible note equity. Each 7,000 USD is equivalent to .5% share of stocks which entitles you to annual dividend from the fifth year of operation onward.

Children of middle to upper middle class families in Davao City eventually expanding to major cities in Mindanao, Visayas, Luzon and the National Capital Region through franchising.

Notes:
- Based on 3rd year gross and at 40% net income rate, the rate return of investment (ROI) is within first 5 years of operation.
- ROI and profitability rate will vary according to the number of sections open for each grade/year level classes; number of sales transactions on peripheral or non-core business like textbooks/work-text, etc.
- Average annual school fees in each educational level are graduated; and projected based on annual inflation rate in education services.

A school is a people-centric enterprise. Hence, people, particularly teaching staff, are the main risks and challenges. This can be addressed by a forging strategic and sustainable partnership with stakeholders namely by:
- Hiring curriculum and pedagogy consultants from DepEd and Philippine Science HS;
- Establishing linkage with local universities and colleges;
- Offering attractive and tailor fit (according to qualifications and experience) to prospective teachers and admin staff (signing bonus-in service training, above industry basic pay and allowances- children education, insurance, annual educational and spiritual tours)
