I am raising money for The Rainbow Child Foundation by doing various charity events with the help of Lakehouse and Bexley Cricket Club

On Friday my HR team at Lakehouse dressed up as childrens characters for the day at work followed by a night out in essex.

Myself and 19 other UK finalists will be fundraising via Face of The Globe 2015/16

with the help of my sponsors, Nigel Barrett Photography and The Lounge Hairdressers I have won a place in the UK final. Its not my first pageant having been involved in Miss England previously. My aim in the competition is to promote women that play typically male dominated sports, I play rugby in the Kent league and due to the stereotypes of women that play rugby the recruitment drive has been tough.

I have been amazed by the support recieved from the Likes of World Cup legends Danielle Waterman, Claire Purdy, Lewis Moody and other big names.

Since starting my bid to represent England I have been in various Local Newspapers and have interviews lined up on BBC Radio and national newspaper coverage and have been chosen to film the new England Rugby ladies RFU commercial.

I will be judged on my charity work, hobbies, ambitions, onstage interview and overall appearence. 90% off the money raised will go to the Rainbow Child Foundation and the other 10% to the overall international Charity queens Charity of choice.  If I was to win the charity queen round my chosen foundation is The Brain Tumour Charity having lost someone very close to me recently at the age of 33.

The UK final will take place on August 29th at Elstree Television Studios

All funds will be paid into Face of the Globe on 28/08/15 who are an official partner of Rainbow.
