Merlock is a beautiful young male/neutered Doberman mix. At only 3 months old it is difficult to say how big he will be once grown (we are guessing 35-65lbs). He is very playful, though he is still learning how to walk on a leash. He is up to date on vaccinations and is ready to find a loving home!
In early March No Paw Left Behind was notified that there was a Doberman mix puppy in dire need at Miami Dade Animal Services. By the time we found out he was at MDAS, he literally had been given only minutes to live. The shelter will not hold Parvo+ puppies overnight, and since he had tested positive it was up to a small army of volunteers online to find a life saving option for this sweet boy. Thankfully our virtual group of supporters was able to come together to save this sweet boy. A coordinated effort arranged a puller, a transporter to our emergency veterinarian, three days hospitilization and three weeks in a medical foster home! Now he is cleared for adoption, super healthy, just got neutered and is a ball of energy. 

So far we have raised just over $600, but we still need your help to cover the rest of this angel's bills. Once we pay off his bill on our credit card we can take on another pet just minutes from death. 

Our pets are all in loving foster homes, and have been thoroughly quarantined for disease once coming out of shelters. 
Our rescue does not pass the cost of the emergency medical care on to adopters. We charge a flat fee of $200 for puppies and $150 for dogs, $75 for cats and kittens, $50 for rabbits, no matter what the breed, no matter how much their emergency vet bill, no matter what the situation. This donation fee covers just the basic care required for adoption: vaccinations and boosters, deworming, microchip, spay/neuter, food, basic care like grooming and transport. We honor this policy because we believe no pet is "worth more" than any other, and every pet deserves an equal chance at a happy life.
