I would have never thought I'd be asking for help  for our family. But on the 7th June 2013 a tiny 5 word sentence changed our lives forever.

"Evonne, you have terminal cancer"

An insane rollercoaster ride just grabbed my family and I, it thrust us into our seats and shouted over the chaos "BUCKLE UP!"

At the time all clinical information suggested 3-6 months would be the most I'd likely survive - I have 2 metastatic melanoma brain tumours.But I'm positive, stubborn and I beleive theres many prayers, sprits and angels looking after me. While I still have the chance I hope to build as many memories to leave behind, especially for my 15 year old daughter, Aiyana. Little things like our last Christmas together and her 16th birthday in January.

I have spent most of my life fundraising for many charities. I have enjoyed passing that love on down to my daughter

We forget that sometimes everyone needs a hand and its often easy to reach out and make a huge difference to someone elses family. Our most recent vollunteer work has been helping a small orphanage in Chaing Rai, Northern Thailand, where a group of us help keep 16 preoius children safe.

We were meant to currently be holidaying in New Zealand now to see all our family, friends and loved ones, sadly that had to be put on hold, as my 90 year old Dad passed away on 21st November and we needed to use those funds to return and plan his funeral.

But we're trying to plan another trip in Mid January.If you would like to help we would be so grateful, it would be the most awesome Christmas present we could receive.
