2 წლის ელენა ვერ ხედავს, მხოლოდ ბნელ ოთახში მკვეთრ სინათლის ანთებაზე აქვს პატარა რეაქცია, გაურბის და უცურავს თვალები და უჭირს სიარული. ელენას ჰიდროცეფალია ჭირს ანუ ტვინის გაწყალება დამძიმებული სტადიით. თავში აქვს შუნტი. ელენას მშობლები უკვე ორი წელია, ცდილობენ ბავშვს არ მოაკლონ საჭირო გამოკვლევები და მკურნალობა. ბავშვს ეტყობა წინსვლა. თუმცა ეს ყველაფერი ძალიან დიდ ხარჯებთანაა დაკავშირებული და ამ თანხებს ოჯახი ვეღარ აუდის. ოჯახისათვის ნებისმიერი სახის გვერდში დგომა სასიცოცხლოდ მნიშვნელოვანია – იქნება ეს პროცენტიანი სესხი, უანგაროდ გაღებული გარკვეული თანხა თუ თუნდაც 10-20 ლარის ჩარიცხვა.
ექიმების თქმით თუ სათანადო მკურნალობა გაგრძელდება, ბავშვის მდგომარეობის გამოსწორება შესაძლებელია, ბავშვი გაივლის და დაინახავს. დაგვიანებამ შესაძლოა სავალალო შედეგამდე მიგვიყვანოს.

Dear all, we kindly ask you to help us to raise money for the 2 years old Elena, who was diagnosed with a hydrocephaly and retinopathy (threats of totally loosing vision). She has undergone several operations and been with doctors almost all her life so far. She currently risks loosing her sight. At present little Elena sees nothing but the sharp light and she is in urgent need of treatment. She should been under the constant care of the doctors, however the family has exhausted all financial resources and are at the brink of hardship. On the good side, there is a big hope from doctors, that treatment will most likely maintenance and improve her vision and recovery from hydrocephaly.
