Hi, I am Robert Reizian, Carla Reizian's Father who's life was taken from us too soon, we ask for a donation to help with funeral expenses and to close her debts from education. Before you donate, please read about her.
On Saturday September 9th, 2023 Carla woke up around 4:30am and went to work as usual. After a long day, Carla came home with her friend from work and they spent some time together going places. They later returned to her apartment after midnight and made chocolate chip banana bread. Carla loved to cook from scratch and was very good at it. She was even known to make her own tortillas from scratch. Her kitchen was filled with all types ingredients, seasoning, dried peppers, beans, rice etc... If it was a Latino dish, she had all the ingredients.
As the night progressed, the two were getting tired and her friend had to get home. Carla drove her friend home in her Silverado that was about an hour away. Upon dropping her friend off, her friend encouraged Carla just to stay at her house since Carla was exhausted form the long day. Carla, as stubborn as she can be sometimes, declined the offer. She then drove back to her apartment.
However 30 minutes (on September 10th, 2023 @ 5:30am) into the drive with her big truck, it went left of center on a one lane road with no median, crossing the line after falling asleep behind the wheel, Carla hit a vehicle head on. The impact was so severe that Carl's truck went into the field and caught fire. We pray she passed instantly without knowledge.
No parent should lay their child to rest, but it wasn't just ours. You see, the vehicle Carla hit was being driven buy a 17 year old on her way to work that morning. She also died in the crash. Two beautiful lives taken so soon, they will both be deeply missed and always loved.
