Hi Everyone !

My name is Rhaya Ratavosi and I am a Sydney based, Fashion Designer. For over 5 years now, with much passion, and determination, I have been following my Goals and Dreams to have my very own Fashion Label.

After completing my Bachelor Degree in Fashion Design and finding a job in my Studied Field, my passion and determination did not Stop there.

Every weekend, with great motivation, I continued to practice my skills in hope that one day I'd be closer to my Dreams, and that even though I was overlooked for having an opportunity like this in College, I would still one Day be just a little Step Closer to my Dream. 

I explored many Avenues, I created A Blog and an instagram Dedicated to my journey and passion for Fashion, anywhere that would let me express myself. As I went on every Weekend Doing the same thing, Patternmaking, Sewing, Posting about Fashion, sharing my World on my Blog - Somehow, Somewhere, Someone, Finally thought I deserved a Shot. 

Having overcome many Challenges, hours and hours of hard work and Effort, doubts about whether I'd ever be given any chance like this in my life, I finally received an opportunity that I believe can change my Life. An Opportunity that I believe, is my One Step Closer.

This opportunity Surprised me, and for a moment I thought that I shouldn't apply because I'd been told I wasn't good enough. I put that negativity aside and only thought about how thankful I'd be if this came true. I applied. Miraculously, I was accepted.

What is that Opportunity you ask ? It is to Showcase my Collection at Facet Fashion Week in Los Angeles.

Now that I've finally been given this Opportunity, I need your help !

Contributions made will go towards the Following : Perfecting and creating Patternpieces, Sampling Garments and ensuring they are run way Ready, Machinists and manufacturing of garments for Runway, modelling costs for photoshoot, Hair and Makeup, Airfares, Footwear and Styling, Photoshoot and Social Media Strategies, Fabrics and Notions, advertising campaigns and Videography.
