My friend is in trouble, and she could really use your help. A young mother is about to be out on the street because of a smart decision to take her baby out of a dangerous environment.

Her name is Mayaki, and she has an adorable almost-3-month-old baby, along with an abusive Fiance. She left him, thankfully, but now he refuses to support them, and she has to go through a long battle with the state over child support, welfare and the like. All of which can take up to 3 months to kick in. In the mean time, she could really use your support. She has been staying with friends for the past week or two, but now she's stuck staying with her mother, who absolutely does NOT want a crying baby in the house, and is going to kick them out some time this week unless Mayaki gives her money, which will leave her with NOWHERE to go. She has to buy formula, diapers, wipes, and take her baby to the doctors [ which she can't do until she pays the 4 late fees she owes, thanks to her mother who waits until half an hour before an appointment to decide she 'doesn't FEEL like going anymore' ].

Any little bit can help, even if it's just a couple of dollars. She could really, really use it and she would be SO appreciative of anything given to her. I know she has been stressing and feeling so bad about not being able to provide for her baby, but she made the right decision in leaving that man, and she just needs a little bit of assistance in backing that decision up!
