Help to end homelessness today, one man at a time.

My name is Ronnie Coats. I began getting ill in 2010. I have been hospitalized 15 times since then with complications of diabetes and MRSA. I lost my job in April of 2013. I have no family or friends in a position to help any more than they have. I am now homeless.

Currently, I am hopitalized at the Adventist Care Center Courtland, in Orlando. I am recovering from surgery. When my wound heals I will be returning to the streets. I have been blogging on facebook both my healthcare and homelessness experience. You can follow me at

I have applied for Social Security Disability and have been denied twice. It's now in the hands of an attorney. I have no other source of income.
