At 19 years old, Tom was diagnosed with a very rare form of bone cancer in his tibia called osteosarcoma. After going through 2 months of chemo, Tom learnt that he'd face an above knee amputation due to the tumour spreading to this knee. Being a keen sportsman playing cricket for Newport Cricket Club, and helping out with coaching, Tom is eager to get back on the field and in order to do this, we need to raise enough money to get Tom a leg with a microprocessor in the knee, which will enable him to play sport again.
