The Mission
In September 2026, I will travel to Edinburgh, Scotland, pick up a truck full of humanitarian aid, and head to Ukraine with a convoy of volunteers from around the world. I invite you to journey with me.
The vehicle will deliver essential aid and then be donated to a military unit. It may be used to transport food, medicine, and evacuate civilians and wounded soldiers. Each vehicle can save many lives.
What motivates me to get behind the wheel for 25 hours and 2,250 km? It's the horrible injustices waged against the Ukrainian people. It has been my privilege to host Ukrainian families in my home throughout the war. There has been laughter and also many tears shed around the diner table. I've heard the stories first-hand.
Last April, I drove in my first mission to Ukraine. I stood in the Field of Mars cemetery in Lviv and fought back tears as I looked over the flag-adorned graves stretching into the distance.
It's time to do more.
The Need
I aim to raise C$2,000 to cover ferry fees, tolls, accommodation, fuel, and some meals for the journey. I'll cover my travel to Europe and back, as well as accommodations before and after the convoy. Any extra funds raised will go toward the purchase of the vehicle.
This convoy will involve 60 drivers from around the world, including three Canadians.

How to Donate
A meaningful way to donate is to sponsor a portion of a tank of diesel. The cost to fill a tank is expected to be about C$170.00.
| 1 tank | $ 170.00 | 1/2 tank | $ 85.00 | 1/4 tank | $ 44.50 |
For more information, please contact me. Whether you are able to make a donation or not, I'd love to bring you along. Send me your email address and I'll send you regular convoy updates. Journey with me.
