One of the things that makes Canada special—and a core social value we hold deeply here at Cool Air Rentals—is our commitment to community, mutual care, and lifting each other up. In that spirit of solidarity, I wanted to share the opportunity to support our colleagues, Milly and Niel.
As many of you know, Milly and Niel are getting ready to welcome their little one! They are incredible people with huge hearts, and I’m grateful to have built a friendship with Milly and Niel. Having made the journey to Canada from the Philippines, they navigate parenthood without the built-in safety net of nearby family. Watching Milly overcome the hurdles of building a life here—from earning her post-secondary credentials to becoming such a cherished, and loved presence at Cool Air Rentals Edmonton—has been nothing short of inspiring.
Starting a family takes a village. To ease their transition to parenthood and ensure they feel the full support of our workplace community, I've put together a small fundraiser to help them stock up on baby clothes, gear, and everyday accessories.
