On July 6th last year, I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident, due to no fault of my own, that resulted in a traumatic brain injury, reconstructive surgery on both my arms and hands, and major leg surgery.

Just as my life was returning to some normalcy after a long grueling year of recovery and relearning to walk 5 months ago, I found out that my surgery was not as successful as I hoped. My leg is broken again, and I am facing another round of surgeries in an attempt to save my leg.
