Help me celebrate my 1-Year Board Anniversary with a $25 gift to Of Color, Inc.!
In honor of my recent 1-Year Board Anniversary, I am reaching out to my colleagues and friends to help me celebrate this milestone with a small donation to a wonderful organization!
Of Color, Inc. is a minority, female owned and incorporated 501c3 (not for profit). The agency is founded on the belief that people “Of All Colors” can grow economically and together while contributing to the larger society if they are exposed to the positive resources that their communities and the larger society has to offer them. Of Color, Inc. works to assist at-risk families, youth and veterans economically through sustainable employment and increasing their education status.
Of Color, Inc. works with employment agencies in Chicago and beyond and other partners to provide entry-level jobs and felon-friendly jobs. Their housing partners help veterans, and underserved residents have a place to call home. The youth program is training the next generation of leaders. The ultimate goal is to help all of these groups thrive.
Collectively, your $25 gift of support towards my $500 goal will provide the following:
- $100 - Pays for one month of transportation cards covering the costs until a client receives their first paycheck.
- $200 - Pays for work clothes, boots/shoes and even a warm coat.
- $500 - Covers the cost for childcare services for one month as a family transitions into employment and housing.
