My kids father and I split up in 2018, unfortunately because I discovered he was cheating on me with a girl 26 years younger than him. I walked away with 1000 pounds of weight lifted off my shoulders, but my sweet little boys took the brunt of his actions to the center of their hearts. This was the first of so many struggles I was now faced with, and it was soul breaking. 6 years later I'm still treading in water fighting for air as life keeps pushing my head under. I lost the money backing my ex brought in, but I stood strong and built my own life and created my life as a hairstylist/caregiver/housekeeper. I'm proud to say I'm independently hired and have been successful with it going on 5 years now. My troubles started hitting me hard when I totalled my dodge Durango a mere 3 months after I paid it off. I did receive enough from insurance to finance my absolute most favorite car ever, a 2014 infiniti q50. I was in love with this car. After 1 year and 3 months. The transmission valve body failed leaving me in limp mode. For 2 years and $4600 later I fought to keep my car hard. Finally winning the race my car was whole again.
Next I was working on a job, but could barely do it due to a pain in my abdomin that kept coming and going, keeping in tears. I called my client and through tears I told her I was sorry but I needed to go to er . After 5 hours in the waiting room I was told I was going to have emergency surgery or I'd end up dying . My stomach lining was herniated and was blocking my bowels. My sweet boys were my heros during my recovery. My job took a toll. I lost several clients for one reason or another. 3 months later I'm slowly getting back to work so I can salvage anything I can. I'd missed driving my car and having outings with my boys. It was nice being back at it, then 4 months later disaster hit. A hog ran out in front of me coming home from a job totalling thr car I fought so hard to keep, so I had to let it go. December 3 of 2022 drove to Wylie, tx and with smiles on our hearts n faces my boys and I drove back home in our new to us 2013 grand cherokee overland jeep. Thank God for my Gigi because I now needed her help taking the kids to school .A mere week and a half afer we drove off that carlot the jeep started giving me problems. I was also loosing clients left and right. I lost 3 to death, at which 1 I worked for a company and received every 2 weeks an actual paycheck, everything totalling to $1800 amounts gone. I lost 1 because her husband was laid off, another due to her own money struggles, and another I quit on , adding another $800 lost to my total.
Going back to my jeep issues. I've up to now July 14, 2023 fallen behind 3 months on my jeep payment and lost my insurance 3 months ago. I've been stranded 13 times from December through March due to the air lift suspension, which I had converted to coil suspension in April. Several lights still sty on requesting to service one thing or another. Drivers back brake caliper broke, then front passenger cv axle broke,, flat tire was replaced with the spare tire jeep provides for their vehicle rubbed a hole in the back passenger hard brake line, leaving me now with no back brakes. The latest and still happening is I'm currently stuck in 4 low because the compartment under the driver seat for whatever reason was was full of water , ruining the transfer case control module, basically the brains of the jeep for certain functions. And here I sit beyond exhausted, mine and my boys livelihood threatened by not 1 but 2 reasons and there's nothing I can do to stop it. . So this is where I'm at; writing the last 6 years of mine and my boys life in a desperate cry for help. Any help given is beyond appreciated. Whatever I do get will help in fixing our jeep, so I can get rid of it and get something much more reliable in trade and not be belly up with it. I will use it to find me and my boys a home of our own. Giving our gigi her back. I just want a chance to finally have our own home even if it's rented, and I will put whatever is left into a college fund for my boys. I truly from the depths of my heart and soul thank you for caring and helping in give us our chance in life.
