I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013 and have been fighting it since then. Last month my current treatment protocol stopped working and the next course of treatment is IV chemo for a period of 12 cycles.   

Due to Covid-19 my medical aid has lapsed and my husband and I managed to cover the treatment cost and were fortunate enough that the local hospital was able to treat me at a nominal cost.

My oncologist is leaving and the hospital here has no oncogist to replace him.  Neither do they have IV chemotherapy medications available to them so I am forced to go private to continue my fight.  This is an expensive exercise and we simply cannot afford it.

I am asking for assistance to cover this treatment and need US$8000 to cover the chemotherapy.   

Once treatment is completed, any funds left in the account will be donated to Journey of Hope , a non profit organization that raises awareness for breast cancer in Botswana.   Theses Angel's do selfless work and have assisted so many women and men with teaching them how to do breat self examinations, free testing, mammograms and support.

Any amount that you can afford would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way in my fight against this awful disease.  We will update you as we go along
