We have a wonderful, energetic bundle of joy in our lives called
Storm! Storm really lives up to his name, but unfortunately his energy
levels have been too much for his back legs.
March this year, just as spring began, Storm sprung into action
- and ruptured the ligament in his left back leg! It needed surgery.
We were lucky that family helped to cover the cost of this surgery.
Never one to be subdued, Storm continued to spring about
immediately after the surgery. Hobbling about on just three legs, the
extra weight was too much for the other back leg. It sprung out of
action!
We have maxed out our pet insurance and our bank accounts with
the first surgery - so Storm needs you to save the day, by helping to
cover the cost of the second surgery!
Your donation will help Storm to get back to his sporty self,
without putting his loving family in a smelly creek without a paddle
(none of us know how to kayak anyway!) As a thank you, we will send
you a PAW-tographed photo of Storm taking it easy after his surgery.

The initial surgery cost £5026 and the estimate for the second
surgery is £4500. Plus peripheral meds, minus the £1300 insurance
payout, the total comes to about £10,000 (about $13,000). Anything you
can contribute towards this would be greatly appreciated, as the
initial surgery has left us with no savings to cover the costs of our
funerals (hopefully that won't be too soon! But it's not easy to save
it back up, from our pensions).
