Having been on a soul searching journey for a while, I've started to recognise long forgotten parts of me. One of these parts is what it is and feels like to be a woman, most especially a feminine woman. 

In today's world we get taught and pushed to be masculine, strong, to lead, push and prove that we can be and do whatever a man can do. 

Well, I've realised that this does not feel true or good to me. 

I've been learning about softness and radiance and natural femininity and it has opened my heart even more, making me realise how closed off, in my head and masculine I had become.
And it hurts to realise that.

In my bones lives this memory of the beauty and power of womanly tenderness, vulnerability and receptivity . She lives inside of me  yet I've rejected her most of my life.

Being around these teachings has led me to remember and feel into my natural feminine ways. Into my tender heart, into my deep desire to be a mother one day which I have long suppressed, into my heart's longing to be led by my (future) husband and live a life with my heart on my sleeve, honouring my feelings and need for devoted masculine leadership.
It literally hurts to live otherwise. To control, to act out of fear, to lead feels like a knife in my heart.

As it would be for any woman who has become overwhelmed, tough and overly masculine, this feels like a complete shift from society's current paradigm of the 'ideal/empowered woman'. And while I feel all of this wanting to come to the surface, this most real part of me, it feels terrifying because it's the opposite of what I've lived and learned throughout my life. I cannot do it alone and I need the support and leadership I receive in this program.

And this is what I need your support for ~ To fund a program that takes me on a 6 month long journey of being led to heal, rediscover and embody my femininity and tender heart.

You might think that this is not urgent or serious or what makes me more special than other women in a similar situation.

I'm not more special. In fact, I feel all women deserve to be supported and led in remembering the truth of their hearts and let go of their armour. We as a society need to remember and embrace the true beauty and power of being a feminine woman and returning to organic design. May my doing this inspire other women to look deeper into themselves and recognise and honour their hearts.

As for the urgency I would say that just because something is not tangible such as physical surgery, it doesn't mean it's less important or lifechanging - it just shows we may need to shift perspectives and priorities. 

Mental, emotional and spiritual health matter just as much as the physical. In fact, maybe even more.

What is the point in just existing, living to fit a mould that has been placed on you? A life of survival and betraying your heart and soul to fit in?
