Brittany Nichole Smith hasn't added a story.

On May the night of 28th Gregory Keith Curtis jr. charged in the murder of a fellow inmate. First degree murder to be exact!! As some of you may have seen on the news Jerome Nebuwa was one of the 2nd inmates to pass Away in Harris county custody that tested positive for covid 19. I will attach news and newspaper articles following the back story. Gregory is a father of 3 and who I have spent the last decade of my life loving! He is not a murder!! I will be the first to admit Gregory has his faults he’s not a perfect person, but I know in my heart and by knowing who he is he would never do this to someone!!! Gregory was due to get out of jail sometime in July  after being incarcerated for almost 8 months. He was supposed to attend a substance abuse program called safp while incarcerated but due to covid 19 he was unable to be transferred so he was to serve is time out in Harris county custody. It is said that on or around may 4th  Gregory attacked Jerome Nebuwa from behind while in the pod hitting him with his hand in some way shape or form. Causing him to fall to the ground. He was said to have knocked him unconscious.  it’s said that mr. Nebuwa started vomiting and was out for 1 to 2 minutes. He then gets up and walks to his cell where He is said to have remained for the rest of the night. On the 5th he is said to have at some time during the day complained of sever stomach pain which they are trying to pass it off as a symptom of a concussion they are saying Gregory caused. After requesting to go to the infirmary it is said Jerome was treated for the sever stomach pain and on the way back to the pod fell out of a wheelchair hitting his head and was rushed to Ben taub hospital where he was found to have a cracked skull and a Brain bleed. He underwent surgery and later passed away on the 6th due to his injuries. There are many issues with this story, starting with Gregory would never attack someone from behind as stated he was due to be released next month why on earth would he jeopardize coming home to his family to attack and kill a man he has never even had a conversation with! Gregory did not know this man they shared a pod as he did with plenty other inmates. Gregory only learned of mr.Nebuwa when they announced his passing on the news as well as Texas ranger came in to investigate and question every inmate in the pod. It’s is said that there are 4 witnesses that saw Gregory attack this man, which could be believable if they could produce  Surveillance Footage of this said attack we were told there is none also I find it very odd seeing  that inmates are to be watched at all times how is it that it is also documented that no correctional office witnessed this attack! No write up or consequences given for the said altercation. The chief of the jail had no idea what was even happening how is that he does not know what’s going on  he should have been the first to know!! Sooo many unanswered questions who cleaned up this mans vomit!! Not to mention he was covid positive. Why has Gregory has still yet to have been tested for covid if they are saying he killed a man who was positive but stating he was  Asymptomatic , But how on earth would you know that if mr. Nebuwa was not found to be covid positive until tested at Ben taub.. Meaning they were not testing inmates like they were saying I’ll over the media in fact the pod they were in did not go on lockdown until after mr. Nebuwa passed away. Also how can you charge someone with murder and they not be informed they are even a suspect or even be told they were being charged to begin with. I was the one who had to break the news to him he was being charged after his mother received a random call from an online bondsman. Informing her he picked up another charge. Gregory was also on probation so They used those charges to enhance his 1st degree murder charge so instead of facing 5 to life he’s facing 15 to life. How can you charge someone with first degree murder with no motive and no hard evidence!!! This is sooo wrong Gregory is now in solitary confinement they are saying he is a danger to other inmates the crazy thing is they did not move him out of the pod until I told him what was happening they still had him in the pod with 3 of the men who gave statements against him this make zero sense wouldn’t you want to protect your witnesses??? The bottom line this story has medical negligence written all over it!! that or these other inmates came  together to fabricate this story maybe they were Bribed it happens all the time!!! Either way Gregory’s life is not going to be thrown down the drain to save Harris County or to help any other inmate in there get to freedom faster. If you have it in your heart to donate please do so if you don’t have it to give places share and pray for our family!!! I will fight for his life for him. He does not deserve this!! It’s not right! Gregory’s lawyer cost 30k his bond is set at half a million dollars we are hoping they will lower it so we can get him out!! Thank you God Bless!
