As a result , we were able to build
rudimentary communication, assist in the development of over 60 locals
for over 2,000 workers, and convene a national conference on 8 July
2018 (see pictures).
YOUR solidarity ensured travel for marginalized and impoverished
Bangladesh workers to attend this conference. And YOU ensured that
women constituted half of the delegates, an important
move in the development of the Bangladesh Anarcho-Syndicalist Women's Union
and women's emancipation from patriarchy.
Bangladesh Workers Need Anarchist Books!
As of now there are not any anarchist texts printed in the
Bengali language. To answer this urgent need, we have created the
BASF Translation & Publication Project.
We need your help to finish translating and printing 10
anarchist works (bottom) into Bengali.

Being in one of the poorest countries where the rural and urban
proletariat is victim of intense exploitation, Bangladesh workers
do not have the disposable income to access books or read them digitally.

We are in desperate need of secondhand laptops, photo cameras, video cameras, and cell phones to build our communication infrastructure for regional collaboration and to ensure the decentralized development of our federation. We also need this technology to document our organizing to share it locally and globally.
