Greetings! I have been honored and humbled to be accepted into a family farm and media project that looks to be both a long-term creative learning and teaching opportunity.

However, I have a challenging move ahead of me, and I need a little help before I get my hands in the dirt!

Aside from the basic need of a truck or van to move and the additional fuel costs, I have to replace items that were damaged in storage, as well as remove some damaged items that cannot be salvaged. Which means a few trips...and more gas.

The most needed items that need replacing are listed below. The amount I'm asking is modest for what is required and if the goal is surpassed, the rest will be used for media and farm projects already underway!

Blankets and pillows
Bedding [pillow cases, sheets]
Bath stuff: [towels, shower curtain, laundry bin]
Bed/Bath Rugs [wood floors + winter = brrr]
Clothing [socks, work boots, jeans, etc.]
Winter gear [i.e., coat, flannels, gloves, hats]
Utility stuff: [I'll need my own hand/garden tools]
Bed [A modest mattress/boxspring or futon]

A lot of items are shared like kitchen gear, so my needs are solely my own but cost more than my budget will allow, especially decent hand tools and replacement of heavy winter gear appropriate for outdoor animal care.

My ability to move in the next two weeks would be a huge blessing, as I can get started on projects and get acclimated before harvest, canning and winter preparations get underway. I'll be taking my first trip down the weekend of August 11th-12th.
