My name is Kathryn Heary and I write fundraisers for various shelters and animal rescuers in Egypt.  My friend Sara El Grohaty opened the only shelter in the city of Mansoura, Egypt back in March 2016.  She struggles to keep it open and due to lack of funds she can't take in as many cats as she would like which breaks her heart.  I have personally visited the shelter this past March, 2018 so I can tell you the shelter is legitimate but Sara can't pay all the expenses of the shelter on her own. We were hoping that donations would be a part of the shelters income to keep it going but it is a struggle. 

Sara has had some luck in adopting some of her animals out but unfortunately because of the lack of donations she can't even afford to bring in new animals that need her help and it is breaking her heart. Please help us raise as much of the money below so that Sara and her shelter can take in and save more of the street cats and kittens that are waiting to be saved from the Mansoura streets.   Below are the monthly costs that she could use a bit of help covering. If she can get this help then she can start helping more strays again and not have to turn them away she lacks the funds to care for new cases.

Again, I have recently visited Sara and the Mansoura shelter and these beautiful rescue cats were all so beautiful, sweet, and loving. In the gallery below are pictures of the many beautiful cats at the shelter. You will see one or two pictures of myself and my  friend, Jan, during our visit to the shelter just so you can see I was actually there. 

I am asking you to please help us keep the Mansoura shelter stay alive and growing so they can save more innocent suffering lives from street life.  Sara puts her everything into this shelter and all she needs is a little help from us to give the homeless cats of Mansoura a place to go, a place of hope.
