We Are A Strong Couple Just Too Dumb To Quit!

For Jerry Wolf Stage and I, life has never been easy.  And even when it seems like we should be in a corner with our tails between our legs, we keep going and come out even stronger.  Many of our issues in life has been due to bad planning and dumb decisions but this time we are trying to do it right.

With me at 53 as of 2/12/18 and him just having turned 60, we should be enjoying the upcoming Golden years.  But just not yet apparently.  And we aren't ready to give up.  In the past, all of our life changes have been done together.  This time we are apart with Jerry working in Tennessee staying with friends while I am still trying to maintain here in Virginia.  And it basically sucks.

We Need To Both Be In Tennessee Together ASAP!

While he has secured a great job in Tennessee, where he is staying is proving to be almost 80 miles round trip per day back & forth to work.  That is hard on a used vehicle plus the cost of the gas.

Meanwhile, I am still here in Virginia trying to keep this place going.  We just can't seem to find a balance between saving for a new place where he is working AND maintain this place here.  I won't say that it is impossible, but it extremely hard to do at this point.

I am hoping to raise enough that if he finds an affordable place that is in our final price range ($350 - $500 per month), to have the funds immediately available for him to close the deal plus get all required utilities set up.  Places at these price points go fast - so the old saying "money talks - BS walks" does apply in this case.  So I will be trusting his judgment in finding a spot but we need the capital to back it up.

How We Would Be Using Any Funds Raised:

Planning on the high-side of our perceived budget, this is where funding would be used if raised...

Security deposit: $500

Non-refundable Pet deposit: $200 (we are NOT the kind of people to just up and leave our fur-babies.  We did that one time with a cat and it tore our hearts out when we left her at a shelter)

1st Months Rent: $500

Estimated utilities: $430

UHaul rental: $200

Estimated Total: $1,830.00

We Could Really Use Your Help <3

We don't expect you to drop what you are doing or ignore your own bills.  And we certainly don't expect to raise the entire amount through this campaign. 

We are working on things on our end to make this happen as soon as possible.  Wolf is trying to put away as much as he can but with buying his food and gas (Again, almost 80 miles round trip per day), it is hard to squirrel a huge chunk at once.  I am currently selling all of my completed beadwork at a loss on eBay just to help make this happen.  But I am still maintaining the bills here in Virginia to stay afloat until I can join him in Tennessee.

I finally had to admit that trying to do this on our own is just going to take too long.  So I am swallowing my pride (it's gotta go before we fall) and asking for help.  Any help would be greatly appreciated at this point.

I still have faith in human nature.  I know that wives/husbands of military or truckdrivers fully get how this separation is killing us but I know our marriage is strong enough to deal with this.  And I am going to believe that there are 150 - 175 people out there who might have a spare $10 laying around and might be willing to help.

I BELIEVE  that this can be done by this month and that by the end of February, I will be with my husband in Tennessee.  I know it and I claim it.
