I'm a husky fun-loving foodie who would like to help feed the world...and fit into a pair of skinny jeans before they go out of style....whoops. Too late.
What's hard to believe is hunger is still a serious problem. Even with all the amazing advances we've had as a planet the United Nations reports 1 out 8 people on Earth are suffering from chronic undernourishment.
That's about 795 million people who are starving while I contemplate eating an Oreo Churro...with Yoda on my back.
(Yes. Unlike Unicorns...Oreo Churros EXIST!)
Even in the San Francisco Bay Area, one of the richest areas in the United States, families depend on soup kitchens and food banks. With your help, I'd like to improve this situation.
As I said prior, I'm a husky individual.
I
carry an adorable pot-belly and I haven't really seen my neck since
the early 2000's. Health or vanity haven't worked as good motivation
for my weight loss. I believe helping feed the hungry will work better.
That's why I pledge to lose 20 POUNDS by this Christmas and I'm asking you to sponsor me.

Every dollar raised will benefit amazing organizations that bring food to people in need, whether around the world (OXFAM) or in our neighborhood (St. Martin De Porres House of Hospitality).
HOW WILL I LOSE WEIGHT?
Glad you asked! I am not going to eat delicious fatty salty high calorie foods any more. (tear...) I'm going to replace that with lean meats, veggies and complex carbohydrates. (double tear...)
I'm also going to work out. A lot. (slight weeping) At least 4 days of intense fat burning exercise a week till I get the job done. (Niagara falls)
No starvation diets. No fads. Just plain healthy living.
Easier said than done right? TRUE. But I believe that this cause and your support will help me get there!
