Jeremiah Jones hasn't added a story.
★★★UPDATE★★★
Just letting y'all know that Jeremiah now has a blog up
and
running. Due to the fact that there are some out there
determined to
shut his Facebook page down by reporting posts
and having them removed,
most updates will be posted on the
blog with a link posted here. The
blog is also a bit more
organized w/out having to scroll thru the
[not-so] user
friendly Facebook. Just click on MENU for the different
pages
and archives. Right now, the blog is filled with most of the
posts
that have been subject to reporting and removal. Follow
it here:
https://jeremiahsjourney2015.wordpress.com/about/
Again, I am asking if you are able to, please donate to Jeremiah
to help with his daily living expenses, gear & supplies, visa
fees and ticket home when that time
arrives. Every little bit
helps. In doing so, you are not only helping
his survival
there, but actually aiding in the fight AGAINST ISIS!
UPDATE:
I wanted to give everyone an update, as it has been awhile.
As I have stated before, I set out on a journey based on an inner calling I had. Many things have developed during my time here that were unforeseeable and out of my control. This includes planning and coordination of activities with those I met up with to help, to financial needs for basic survival, to powerful political players stepping in and changing the landscape of the region and people I was called to help. Things in the area have clearly changed and I have been in a position of ‘what do I do now’.
My last update I talked about being in a pretty dire situation which I thought I needed to leave immediately.
I am now located in a much safer place with a new group of people. Upon arrival to my new location, some new opportunities were presented to me to continue to help people in need here. There are a lot of people who desperately need help in various ways; while there are very few people out there willing and able to do so.
My journey here has been a growing and life changing experience. It has taught me many things about myself and broadened my view on life outside of The United States and everything I have come to know in the comfort of my own little world back home.
I am not sure if that journey is over….or if it is to continue.
My heart and desire to help these innocent desperate people is still here. However, my heart is also at home. I am right now in a place of relying on what God’s direction is for me: stay here and offer my help, or end this journey I was called to do and go home.
Your countless prayers, support, and encouragement have been a blessing and have gotten me through the last four months.
I am asking for your continued support and encouragement, but also your prayers that God will clearly direct me in my next steps.
If you would like to or are able to continue to support me via donations, DONATE HERE
All funds donated are and will be used for support, operational needs, contingency plans and/or an exit plan as well helping my partner who I am waiting on to join me where I am located now.
If you have any questions, please ask below. Internet access is still limited, but I will try my best to respond to any questions or comments as soon as I am able to.
Thank you and God Bless You!

Three months ago, Jeremiah set out on a journey to a faraway place to fulfill an inner yearning - to voluntarily and without pay help a population of people in desperate need.
He has been living amongst them for over 3 months now. Within the last week, things have drastically changed in the region he is in - for the worse. The region is now very volatile and unpredictable and dangerous for all. Most of this is being reported all over the news. It is worse than reports we all are hearing.
After much reflection, speaking with friends and family and spending time in prayer, Jeremiah believes it is time to come home.
Coming home this early was not planned and he needs our support in making that happen.

All funds will go directly to Jeremiah's basic living needs, contengency plans and his journey home. Any remaining funds not used for this will go directly to helping other brave men and women who need to leave the region.
Your concerns, prayers, words of encouragement, donations and sharing this journey with me has been a blessing. God bless you all!
