Salisbury, NC ~ Charlie and Elroy are 6 year-old beagles who were brought into the Rowan County Animal Shelter as strays. Charlie had an injured leg and needed help. Both Charlie and Elroy were pulled as medical fosters and taken to the Lazy 5 Veterinary Hospital for veterinary care by Jan Holsinger. They are currently at Lazy 5 receiving treatment.
Poor Charlie was possibly hit by a car. He has a broken foot and a raw place on his stomach. Both Charlie and Elroy are Heartworm Positive, have whipworms, and need a few teeth extracted.
Jan Holsinger is a rescue angel and helps so many animals in need out of the goodness of her heart and money out of her purse. Please help us help her help Charlie and Elroy get the veterinary care they need. We will work on their placement when they are healthy.
