Bishwa Limbu hasn't added a story.
It's been more than a week Nepal was struck by an earthquake. As we are aware of the death toll which has exceeded and not to mention many thousands are wounded and the damages of the properties is colossal. Foreign aids are pouring in which is good. I have been coming across articles encouraging people to donate and I believe many of you have already done it. I have been researching about those charity organisations particularly about the donated percentage (where it is supposed to go to). Let’s bear in mind that even if it says 80% is going to the victims, it still has to go through the local governments/organisations/ administrations and the admirable politicians (pun intended - referring to Nepal). When the remaining portion of the donations arrives, it could well be a long time if they are lucky, most often it disappears magically. So I have come up with this thought bypassing and directly donating to the affected victims in one of the worst hit place, Sindhupalchowk. The death toll itself in this place is 1820 as of 1 May 2015.
Together we stand, we can do more than praying for those less fortunate one. We cannot bring back what they have lost but we may be able to give them a little help in this very tough time by giving them what we can. What can be more pleasure than seeing a smile on those faces who have just survived their life!
