My name is Toni-ann and I live on a lovely little island called the Isle of Man, which is located between England and Ireland. I am hoping to raise as much money as possible for an amazing charity called 'Helping Hands Sur, for the rehoming of animals small and large'.

I aim to do this by taking part in the Parish Walk. For those that don't know, the Parish Walk is a yearly event and involves walking 85 miles, through 17 parishes, and with only 24 hours to do it in! This will be my 1 and only time at attempting this. It is no easy task and I have the small inconvenience of a couple of long-term injuries, but I am determined to push past them and focus on raising as much money as possible! 

I have been involved with Helping Hands for a year now and it is one of the best things I have done in my life. I work as a volunteer and help as much as possible, especially when it comes to helping to rehome dogs on the Isle of Man. It is now a huge part of my life. The people involved, and mainly Nikki and Linda, really do inspire me and leave me awestruck! They dedicate their lives to not only rescuing animals, but ensuring they have a normal and happy time whilst in foster care. The animals live with them at home so it really is a 24/7 job!

Because it is such a small charity funds are often low, so I want to raise a huge amount of money and hopefully the ladies won't have to worry about funds, at least for a little while. 100% of money raised will go directly to Helping Hands Sur and used entirely for the animals welfare. Money will be used for vet bills, food, building kennels, and anything else the animals need. We will keep everyone updated with what their money has been used for.

I hope you all find it in your hearts to donate to this very worthwhile cause, as every penny really does count. I am also hoping this fundraiser reaches as far as possible so please please share and help me make this crazy fundraiser worth every single penny, mile, blister, ache and pain :-)
