Ashebots is entering an exciting new season of robotics. This year we'll be competing in FIRST Tech Challenge as FTC Team 7300. As an independent student organization, we can't do it alone -- we need your support! Thank you. More ...
Ashe-Bots FRC Team #4016 is a non-profit, inclusive program where professionals mentor students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, with goals toward building robots and competing in FIRST Robotics Competitions.

Ashe-Bots is meeting a crucial need in STEM-based education in our area, as we are open to ALL high school students in Asheville, NC and surrounding areas. Currently we have involved students from four counties, with some driving up to an hour one way to participate.

Ashe-Bots exists because we believe in the importance of STEM-based learning and experience as a key to the future success of our students. Studies prove it and we agree!

The involvement and sacrifice of our students, mentors, and volunteers, however, is not enough. As an open group, not affiliated with a specific school, we are in the unique situation of being available to students from any school, yet financially supported by none of those schools. Simply put, we need money!

We are proud of all the local support and votes of confidence we have received from A-B Tech Community College, who have provided our space; JC Penney, our largest cash sponsor; Meet the Geeks, our 501(c)(3) sponsor; and the long list of other great local sponsors.

But we still need help from caring individuals who will pitch in to make this all happen. Every contribution, large or small, will make a difference. Thank you for being a part of our team and for believing in our bright and talented young people.
