The Moonlight Healthcare Center is a free health clinic for rural villagers in the province of Okhaldhunga, eastern Nepal. The Moonlight Foundation Nepal, in conjunction with Backpacker Medics (Australia), aim to build a three-room, permanent health post in Kerausawagara village and fund a full-time local nurse. We also aim to provide continual health education and training for local villagers. The region surrounding Kerausawagara currently has no healthcare facilities and villagers are often required to travel for over six hours to the nearest health post.
Our aim is to offer those who cannot afford basic health care better options for treatment by providing on-location care where possible and facilitating (and then funding) further hospital or specialist care when needed.
Every last cent raised here will be used to build the clinic, support local health staff and pay for ongoing medical equipment costs.
Give a little, or give a lot, but thankyou a thousand-fold for your support!
