Our daughter was a victim of a crime on 9/13/2012. She was then witness to the same crime on another girl shortly after she was a victim. She was then accused of being a part of the 2nd crime. She has now been formally charged by the District Attorney today 9/19/2012 and is severe trouble and needs to clear her good name!! We as her parents are unable to afford the defense that will clear her good name and her future from this day forward. As most of you know Alexis is a very mature young lady and has been brought up not to judge people by their race, color, creed, religious beliefs, size, weight, social or financial standing or any other difference people judge others. Everyone who is friends with both parents know that we are all about Alexis and spend quality time bringing her up right and we are involved in all that she does. Alexis being a 13 year old girl is very scared and stressed out about her future from this day on and is asking for help from all that know her!! We will be setting up a Paypal account to accept donations to help pay for her defense expenses as soon as we can figure out how to do it. The details of her ordeal will have to be withheld until we get the police reports and all statements and consult with an attorney, then we will go public with exactly what happened. The ACLU has been contacted but they must receive the request in writing and then it will take 4 to 6 weeks for them to respond and decide whether or not to pursue civil legal action against all involved. Until then NO statements or comments will be written by either parent as to protect our daughter and her case. Please respect this request and not ask for any details until we are ready to do so!!!
