Hi there! I’m Leo, a 25-year-old trans man living  with my wonderful fiancée, Sage. We share our lives with two beloved cats and are currently residing with Sage’s parents in Texas.

We are in a desperate situation. Just a few days ago, we received some shocking news: Sage’s parents are relocating to Colorado, their house has already been sold, and we have to vacate by January.

That gives us less than three months. We haven’t been given an exact date, but we have been told we may be out of a home as soon as January 1st.

Fortunately, despite not having any other local family to fall back on, we have friends in my home state of Minnesota who can take us in and who are willing to come down here to help us move back up to my home state . However, between application fees, renting a vehicle, paying for fuel, shipping our belongings, submitting deposits, and so much more, the financial burden is overwhelming. And while Sage will be able to shift to a different branch for his job for the relocation up to Minnesota, I will be left looking for new employment. Thus, having additional funds for rent and groceries during those initial months while I search for a job is crucial.
