💔 A Father’s Request: Help Me Bring My Family Back Together
My name is Taye Tamirat.
I am a father, a husband, a Christian, and a photographer—though that feels like a long time ago.

I used to live a happy life in Ethiopia. I had a loving family, with my wonderful wife and our two young sons, who are 8 and 4. Our home was full of laughter and love. I ran a busy photography studio, capturing important moments for others, while trying to create a good future for my children.

But then, everything changed in an instant.

When the war started, my life fell apart.
Violence hit our city hard.
I barely got to hug my children and say goodbye.

We had to leave quickly. It was chaotic.
I lost my family in the confusion—ever since, I’ve felt a deep emptiness.

My Losses:
🏚️ Our home—now in ruins
📷 My studio—destroyed and stolen from
💔 The life I worked hard for—gone

Since that day, I've been struggling to survive—not actually living.
I feel very lonely and empty.
Every day is just about making it through.

My wife and kids are currently with relatives in a safer area, far away.
It's been a long time since I last saw them.
I don’t even know if they are okay—how they are sleeping, eating, or if they are safe.

I miss hearing my sons call me “Dad.”
I long to see their faces, hold them close, and tell them they are safe—that their father is here.

But I can’t make this happen... without help.

Why I’m Asking for Help:
I have lost my home, my job, and nearly everything meaningful in my life—but I haven’t lost my hope.
I still believe in God.

This is why I am asking for your help.
