Update: The dance coach has informed all parents that she would have to add an additional $300 because she was unsure of the price for the dance team to perform at conventions and for the travel. The deadline was missed for sending funds for a discount is the actual reason for the extra fees. This is her first year doing this and we understanding and I want to support her and the dance team students. We are doing everything we can to help her and make sure all the kids get the funds that they need. So please help Taylor get to that goal. Hi my name is Taylor Vick, I am a sophomore in high school (LSA Charter High School). I love to dance and draw. I am a twin to my brother Jaden (who was diagnosed with autism at 3). I have two younger siblings who I love dearly. In school I am keeping y grades up and I am apart of a few clubs. I am a member of the ITS (Theater Club), BSU (Black Student Union), LSA Dance Team and I work behind the scenes during plays as part of the crew team (Costume and Design group). When I graduate from high school I want to go to college to major in Dance. I am very excited about this new experience for me.
I have been dancing since I was 7 years old. I did my first dance with my church dance group. When I was in elementary (fourth grade) a company called Arts in Action came to our school and we participated in a free dance program. Afterwards my mom signed me up for the Saturday program with that company, it was called Arts in Action Leap Team. My mom and dad work hard to make sure we have everything we need. They are two of my big supporters. With you help this will help me look forward to moving forward in my future career in dance.
I am working hard to raise funds to join the dance team and I am helping to pay for a portion of the fees myself. As I am embracing the challenge of raising the funds, I could greatly use your help. That's why I am turning to my family and friends to help me raise the fees. My goal is to raise $900 to help her with this dream. I will greatly appreciate any contribution you are willing to make. Supporters like you are the reason why I looked forward to going further in my dance career.
