My name is Kevin Calbert and I am an assistant coach of the 2008 Boys Olayo soccer team with FC Arizona. My son Kade is on the team and this team won the Arizona Presidents cup to be named state champions and now have the opportunity to represent the state of Arizona in the Far West Regional tournament in Boise Idaho in the middle of June. Myself and the other two assistant coaches, Brad and Mike are volunteers and give of our own means since last May to help them improve as young men and soccer players. They are led by a coach Bobby Olayo that cares for them not just as players, but as individual young men and we want to take them all to Idaho with us.
Kade has been working as a certified referee for the last year and a half and has saved some of that money and has a good start on his trip but is looking for assistance to get the rest of his needed funds by next month.
Please take a moment and donate any amount that you can to first help get Kade to Idaho and anything more that is raised will be donated to those boys that truly do not have the means to attend this trip.
The trip will cost approximately $3000 per boy and will give them an opportunity that they may never have again.
