We are raising funds for Ningbo Jia Junior High and High School, the first of its kind in Tambokurugu, Ghana :)
This amazing school was founded in September 2018 by our parents, Dr. Abdel Salaam Mohamad, a retired mechanical engineering professor and current Tambokurugu director, and our mother, Mrs. Asana Tia-Adjei, a retired maths teacher and curriculum developer. An affordable world-class education for all interested qualified students. As a mechanical engineer, our father was able to design and build this school in ten years. It has solar panels providing electricity, a science lab with state-of-the-art equipment, a school garden, a wonderful computer lab with ten laptops and an amazing library

Our library starts with a few books in a box. The box of books is carried from one class to another, and students can examine them and take them home. As we get more books, we get more boxes. Finally, we must have a dedicated library room.

The computer lab has ten laptops, a luxury for kids sleeping in thatched-roofed mud huts. But they have caught up with QUICK. Of course, drawing tools are one of their favorite things

Over the next few years, we look forward to expanding the computer lab and library, with the eventual goal of opening it to students from schools in the surrounding area.
We really appreciate everyone's support over the years! We have had many successful reading events and our amazing students have become tech-savvy and voracious readers. To improve the computer lab and library experience, we need more shelves, more seating, more laptops, and of course more books :)
