Friends and Family of Rachel Shackelford, let's all help her get back on her "hands" again by gathering some extra funds for her while she heals.
Rachel was involved in an off highway vehicle accident on 10/28 resulting in the loss of her index finder and damage to her middle finger. She has some expensive out of pocket medical bills. Additionally, since Rachel's profession is as a Horse Trainer she will be limited on her horse training abilities until she heals and gains full use of her left hand again, however she will still be able to be still coach riders and give lessons.
For those of you who still would like trail or arena lessons or coaching, she is still making herself available as long as you can help groom and saddle the horses, she can still ride safe and trained horses at this time. Please continue to recommend Rachel and schedule lessons with her to help her get back on track financially during this tough time. As you can imagine her hand injury is VERY painful and will be wrapped up for quite some time. Think about how many things we all use both hands for and imagine doing everything - getting dressed, washing hair, driving, typing, riding with one hand!
