Jamie Graeff Wright hasn't added a story.
Terry Graeff was a beloved father, grandfather, and husband. He was married to his wife, Janet, for over 48 years and lived in Murphsyboro, Illinois for the majoriy of his life. While his health had not been at full strength for some time, his death on February 18th, 2017 was very sudden. In lieu of flowers at the funeral home or gravesite, Terry's daughters and sons in law request that memorials be made to help Janet with expenses for the funeral and in the coming months after the loss of her husband.
Terry Graeff was an avid fisherman, a great storyteller, a veteran of the United States Air Force, a caring dad, a doting grandfather, a supportive husband, a talented electrician, a loyal friend, and a longtime member of his hometown's tourism committee. For years he travelled to sports and boating shows to promote Murphysboro in as many places as possible. He was very proud of his hometown and was the third generation of Graeff's to live in and own the family's well known house on the hill. He was born in and passed away in that house, and the hilltop it sits on will always be a place where people think of him and remember his many stories. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
