The Red Bull X-Alps Team Canada needs your help to make it to the goal in Monaco!  

カナダ人のリチャード・ブレジナ（熊本県天草に１６年在住）は、レッドブルXアルプスで戦い抜く為、皆様にご支援をお願いしております。

The X-Alps has the well-deserved reputation of being one of the world’s toughest adventure races. Participants must fly a paraglider or hike, via set turn-points, more than 1000 km across the European Alps from Salzburg to Monaco in the fastest time possible.  The race usually takes 10-15 days of virtually non-stop, ultra-marathon effort. 

Canadian paraglider pilot and adventure athlete  Rick Brezina  currently lives in Japan. He has logged over 3000 hours of accident-free airtime, and has flown scores of daring cross-country flights, including the current distance record for the Japanese island of Kyushu, and a 332 km personal best distance in the flats of Australia. He also has five consecutive wins of the Amakusa X-Athlon, a multi-sport adventure race that takes place annually in southern Japan.  Team Canada consists of Rick and his two on-site supporters, Julien Maatouk and Garth Camac, who will be assisting him continuously with food, clothing, camping, weather analysis, navigation, on-ground and aerial strategy, and psychological support.  Other supporters and friends will assist and cheer either in person or online.

Funds are needed to cover airfare, insurance, car purchase and/or rental, fuel and tolls, food, accomodations, sports and communication equipment, etc. for Rick, Julien, and Garth during the lead-up to and the duration of the race, a period of approximately one month.  We need your to raise a total of about $30,000.  Together, we can do it!  Thank you in advance for your help!

野心的な冒険家、熊本県天草市 15 年在住のカナダ人リチャード・ブレジナが、カナダ代表として「レッドブル X アルプス 2017 」に出場します。

レッドブル X アルプスは２年に一度行われる、世界で最も過酷なアドベンチャーレースです。 20 カ国から集結した強靭な 30 人のアスリート達は、オーストリアのザルツブルクをスタート。オーストリア、ドイツ、イタリア、スイス、フランスに設けられたチェックポイントを通過しながら、アルプス山脈を超えモナコのゴールを目指します。
