Brampton resident Peter Bailey has had it with the political scandals and abuse of public trust at Brampton City Hall and is trying to do something about it. But he needs financial help to continue. Keep reading to see how you can do your part in building better communities.
Peter has gone to court to challenge Brampton Regional Councillor Martin Medeiros' eligiblity to run for office in the 2014 municipal election. Peter alleges Medeiros was not a resident of Brampton and therefore not eligible to run for public office.
Last autumn Peter started a court action to have Medeiros removed from office. Costs have mounted, and the case is not over yet. Peter needs money to keep the court action going. You can do your part and together we can build a better Brampton. Please donate today.

Peter has said, "Promoting open, honest and accountable government are values we all want. There comes a time when one must take firm action, regardless of its magnitude, to make this happen. We need to ensure that ethical and moral obligations are met; we need to ensure the law is respected."

The court action has been started in the Superior Court of Justice in Brampton, but is stalled until Peter can raise the money to pay the legal costs.

"If the case is abandoned for lack of money, justice and democracy will be denied" said Ron. "If Medeiros goes unchallenged you could be faced with a similar situation in your city , your municipality, your electoral ward." Ron added.
