Odwirafo Kwesi Ra Nehem Ptah Akhan hasn't added a story.
Mikyia mo (Greetings),
AKONGUASUA is the central institution of learning
within Aakhuamuman Amaruka Atifi Mu, the Akwamu Nation in North
America. AKONGUASUA is a combination of the Twi-Akan
terms Akongua and sua. The
term Akongua is a descriptive form of the
term gua (adwa), both meaning 'seat,
chair, throne'.Sua means 'to learn, to study'.
Together, AKONGUASUA describes the nature of our
institution being that of learning from the Ancestral seat.
All of our 31 books, 100+ articles, weekly broadcasting,
workshops, trainings and entrepreneurship program are a product of our
institution AKONGUASUA. We began this work in Chicago
in 13001 (2001) and relocated to Washington, DC in 13009 (2009).
We have initiated a fund-raising drive for the opening
of AKONGUASUA DAN to serve as the new headquarters
for AKONGUASUA. The Akan
term dan means a 'building' or
'sanctuary'. AKONGUASUA DAN will be the physical
edifice housing our institution addressing the following three areas:
Nkom - Ritual Observances, Cultural Observances,
Conferences, Healing
Adesua - Classes, Trainings, Workshops, Broadcasting,
Lectures, Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) Homeschool Network Activities
Nhoma ne Adwuma - Publishing, Distribution,
Filmmaking, Employment, Entrepreneurship
This institution will be located in the Washington, DC area,
however we will live-stream classes so that Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut
(Africans~Black People) around the world can participate in our institution.
We have published 31 books, over 100 articles, 344 blogtalkradio
broadcasts and over 100 videos examining Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit
(African) Ancestral Religion, Culture, Trustory (history), Natural
Health and Nationbuilding.
We have made all of the e-book versions of our publications free
downloads from our website. The soft-cover versions are also available
to order. We also conduct trainings for Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit
(African~Black) Behavioral Health Professionals, Human Services
Profressionals, workshops on our Educational Curriculums, give
presentations in different cities all free of charge to the
Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African~Black) community. We also have
effective methods for overcoming drug and alcohol addiction, domestic
abuse, intergenerational trauma and more rooted in our Ancestral
Religious practices - Ancestral Religion which all
Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African~Black) people have inherited through
our blood-circles wherever we exist in the world.
Additionally, we created an opportunity
for Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans) to become self-employed by
becoming independent distributors of our soft-cover books -
irrespective of past employment history or level of formal education.
Thousands of our people have realized tangible benefits from
studying our free books and publications on Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit
(African) Ancestral Religion, Trustory, Culture, Philosophy, Natural
Health and Nationbuilding, by accessing our free services (AKUMA SAA -
Substance Abuse Abstinence, ADESUA - Training Workshops for Behavioral
Health Professionals, OBARIMA - Afurakani Manhood, PTAH Sasetem,
ADEBISA - Divination, NOKWAREFO - Entrepreneurship, etc.) and
incorporating these lessons into their lives. You can therefore
recognize the value in the establishment in the AKONGUSUA DAN.
See our AKONGUASUA page for more detailed information on how
your support of our soft-cover books as well as akyede (donations) via
this campaign will assist us in achieving the goal of this initiative
- an institution that will continue to serve the
Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African~Black) oman (nation/community) in a
greater capacity than before.

SHAI and SHAIT are Male and Female Abosom, Deities, through whom the Great Mother and Great Father Supreme Being, Amenet and Amen (Nyamewaa and Nyame), transmit our specific configuration of energy contained within our matriclans and patriclans. We function fully as adults only when we adhere to the direction of our KA and KAIT, our Soul - the Deity governing our Heads, and the unique configuration of inherited Divine Power assigned to us to execute the blueprint encoded within our KA and KAIT. The shrines of the Abosom (Deities) SHAI and SHAIT within the Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) body are the right and left hemispheres of the cerebellum. This region governs motor movement, coordination, equilibrium and motive power on a physiological basis. Spiritually, the expansive and contractive forces of SHAI and SHAIT govern the motive power of our spirit inherited from our matriclan and particlan Ancestresses and Ancestors in a unique configuration. Attunement to this unique energy-complex, our SHAI and SHAIT which are called HYE and HYEBEA in Akan, is central to proper functioning and executing within manhood and womanhood as Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans).. Our training retreat is for those who will become facilitators of OBARIMA and OBAATAN trainings in their communities, grounded in Ancestral Religious practice. OBARIMA and OBAATAN trainings are designed to be conducted in seven one-hour sessions for seven weeks, based upon the seven chapters of each book. These books and trainings are a philosophical basis for rites-of-passage for youth and adults. The restoration of Afurakani Manhood and Afuraitkaitnut Womanhood, rooted in our Ancestral Religious values, is key to the restoration of ODWIRAMAN - Purified Nation - Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans) in the Western Hemisphere. This is a foundational element of AMANNE - Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African~Black) Nationism, the purification of Nationalism, for grounded Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African~Black) men and women form strong marriages, raise strong children and build strong families - the cornerstone of the Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit Oman (African Nation). All Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnit (Africans) must be grounded in these principles. Hoodoo is Akan Ancestral Religion preserved in the blood-circles of our Ancestresses and Ancestors for centuries in North america. Obeah is Akan Ancestral Religion preserved in the blood-circles of our Ancestresses and Ancestors for centuries in Jamaica. Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans) in North america and Jamaica are not dependent upon anyone outside of our direct spiri-genetic blood-circles for our Ancestral Religious practices, inclusive of initiation. Registration for Shai-Shait, as is true of all of our events, is open to Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans~Black People) only. Registration Fee: $600. Installment payment option available. Registration fee includes: - Hotel accommodations at a Black-owned resort (sharing a twin occupancy room with one other individual) - All workshops/trainings and copies of the soft-cover books for each training - Vegan meals - Two guided tours of two different Maroon settlements [*Flights are not included] Registration is first come - first serve. Once we reach the limit registration will be closed. We are planning for a group of 25 people. The deposit is $100. Monthly installments can be made from June through November for the remainder of the total $600 registration fee. [*The $600 registration fee may be reduced if we receive a discount on the hotel expense. 10-Year Anniversary - OBARIMA Afurakani (African) Manhood Book and Training 17,000 Free Downloads of our OBARIMA Book in 12 months This fefewbere (spring) marks the 10-year anniversary of the publishing of our book OBARIMA - Afurakani (African) Manhood Every Afurakani (African~Black) male does not have a father in his life. Many of those without a father also do not have a positive male relative or non-relative to assist them in directing their adwene (mind) and tumi (spiritual power) in a positive, productive direction. They have never been acculturated to continuously re-spect/re-view every thought, intention and action and realign each with Divine Order, every moment of everyday. At the same time they are bombarded every moment of everyday with the perversity and degeneracy of white culture and white cultural values. We thus fall into self-destructive behavior. Our book OBARIMA - Afurakani Manhood is a manual for young as well as older Afurakani males. It is divided into seven sections examining the seven principal values of manhood rooted in the Abosom (Deities) that animate the solar, lunar and planetary bodies which govern the seven-day week. Each day of the week is governed by the energy of a specific Obosom (Deity). We thus have an opportunity - daily - to take advantage of the unique infusion of energy, align with the principal value of manhood governing the day and that aspect of our spiritual anatomy which is related. The result of this perpetual daily realignment in thoughts, intentions and actions leads to transformative behaviors - reformative behaviors. We cease self-destructive activity and embrace productive activity and productive interactions personally and communally. This transformation and reformation benefits the Afurakani male and every Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) person, adult, child and community member with whom he comes into contact. In the past 12 months we have had over 17,000 downloads of the free e-book version of our book OBARIMA - Afurakani Manhood. We have made this book, like all of our 30 books, available as a free download for those who are not able to afford the $9 soft-cover purchase price. We have heard from Afurakani males, youth and adults, as well as their mothers, wives and mates regarding the transformative and reformative effect of OBARIMA upon their lives. Many have ceased smoking, drinking, promiscuity, violent behavior in the community, idleness, laziness, unproductive behavior, self-destructive behavior, negative relationships with family, women and more. This manual which is consulted daily and incorporated into their daily lives has transformed and reformed them right where they are right now. Those who do not have a positive Afurakani Obarima (man) in their lives do not have to wait for someone to come and do a presentation, start a mentoring program, build a school, etc. We have proven over the last 10 years since the release of OBARIMA that we can transform the Afurakani obarima right where he is right now - including those who have been incarcerated and have been given OBARIMA to study. This year's 17,000+ downloads is the latest manifestation of this reality. Our fundraising initiative for OBARIMA started over two years ago is for the expansion of our program wherein we give away free soft-cover versions of our book OBARIMA at our free trainings, workshops for Afurakani males as well as free book give-aways to Afurakani males wherever we can. We have given away over 1,500 copies of our soft-cover books for free to the community over the past couple of years inclusive of OBARIMA. We also have our NOKWAREFO - Distributor option where those who need to work can become self-employed immediately by distributing our 30 books. Some cannot afford the initial purchase of the first set of books at the wholesale price and we thus aim to be able to send the first set of books to them on consignment until they sell the first set. Support our initiative today and assist in the transformation and reformation of Afurakani males - right where they are right now. The transformative and reformative nature of the work is immediate and lasting. Any contribution you make gives you the option to receive one or more of our 30 books in return for your donation. We have real solutions which are immediate and effective and proven. We do not engage in infantile debates. We do transformative-reformative work daily. We have reached over 17,000 this past year. We have the capacity to reach literally hundreds of thousands - and ultimately millions as our website in general has received over 3 million hits over the past 12 months. Every one of our Afurakani mmarima (men) should have a physical copy of OBARIMA in their possession. Take 2-3 minutes now to contribute to this effort before sharing on social media: www.fundrazr.com/Obarima_Afurakani_Manhood See our publications page for all 30 of our books: NHOMA - Publications www.odwirafo.com/nhoma.html Yeda ase (we thank you).. Mikyia mo (Greetings), We arrived in Florida today for our on-location filming of Seshat's segment for our documentary - AMARUKAFO ADEBISA ADWUMADI: African-American Ancestral Divination Project. [See the image on our page if you cannot see it in your email: www.fundrazr.com/Amarukafo_Adebisa There was rain earlier in the day which caused a short delay. However, the weather cleared up and things got underway. The attached image is a group of over 40 opete - vultures - who greeted us as we were driving near one of the filming locations. Naturally, we stopped the car and took some pictures. Opete, vultures, are akyeneboa (sacred animal totems) of the Great Mother Abosom (Deities) as well as the Nananom Nsamanfo (Spiritually Cultivated Ancestresses and Ancestors of our direct-blood circles). This was/is a great acknowledgement from the Abosom and our Nananom Nsamanfo of the work we are embarking upon and sets the proper tone. We will wrap-up the Florida filming this week and then move on to Georgia and Virginia. Yeda ase (we thank you) to those who have contributed over the past couple of days. We just surpassed the 64% mark. Every contribution is valuable and we appreciate all who have contributed thus far. The funds are not only for the equipment and software but also to assist with filming on-location in the necessary states: Florida, Georgia, Virginia, Alabama, Mississippi, Ohio, Illinois and New Orleans. We will be suspending broadcasts this week and will keep everyone updated on our progress. If you have not yet had a chance to contribute to our effort please do so today. It will be greatly appreciated as we seek to reach 100% of our goal: www.fundrazr.com/Amarukafo_Adebisa Yeda ase.. Odwirafo

Mikyia mo (Greetings), We will begin the filming process for our documentary AMARUKAFO ADEBISA ADWUMADI: African-American Ancestral Divination Project this coming Dwooda (Monday) April 23rd in Florida. We will be filming in Virginia this month as well. We will subsequently be filming in Alabama, Mississppi, Ohio, Chicago and New Orleans. We are traveling to the sacred seats of Hoodoo (Akan), Voodoo (Ewe, Fon), Juju (Yoruba), Wanga (Ovambo, Gullah) and Ngengang (Fang) in North america which includes the places of residence and the shrines of the sistas and myself who are featured in the film: Voodoo Queen Kalindah Laveaux, Wabet Seshat Tut Ankh Wadjet, Rekhit Kajara Nia Yaa Nebthet and Mama Mawusi Ashshakir. Our New Orleans date for filming is already set. It will be during the Memorial Day weekend when we are having our KA-KAIT - Soul of Hoodoo and Voodoo Retreat. The other filming dates for Alabama, Mississippi, Ohio and Chicago are being worked out logistically in between our Florida filming next week and the New Orleans date in May so that the New Orleans date will be the completion of all of the filming. Our plan is to then go into post-production (editing) beginning the last week of May and have the film ready for release by the end of June. We look forward to completing the filming within the coming six weeks. Yeda ase (we thank you) to everyone who has contributed to the crowdfund effort which has gotten us to this point. We are at over 61% of our goal. For those who are familiar with filmmaking, we will be shooting in 4K. This is the high-end resolution used by cinematographers for feature films. We want the best quality although the equipment has been significantly more expensive. We feel that it is worth it however. If you have not yet had a chance to contribute to our effort please do so today. This will assist with some of the travel expense to the various states and a portion of the post production work. www.fundrazr.com/Amarukafo_Adebisa Yeda ase.. We will keep everyone updated.. Recall that we also have the 50% discount for couples, married or unmarried. However, many have been booked already as individuals who vacation there regularly book 5-6 months in advance. If you have any questions, let us know. Odwirafo

Mikyia mo (Greetings), Our upcoming first annual HAPI-MERIT Hiber-Nation Training, Cultural and Ritual Retreat is a new and permanent addition to our institutional work. This training which will encompass training those who will become facilitators of OBARIMA - Afurakani Manhood and OBAATAN - Afuraitkaitnit Womanhood trainings in their communities is critical. We are restoring the consciousness of manhood and womanhood from an Ancestral Religious foundation. This is the cornerstone of strong families, children and Nationism - AMANNE. See our video trailer below and our email from earlier today: -- HAPI-MERIT Hiber-Nation Retreat February 16-19, Edisto Island, SC OBARIMA AND OBAATAN: Afurakani Manhood and Afuraitkaitnit Womanhood Training, Cultural and Ritual Retreat Our annual retreat is a training retreat for those who will become facilitators of OBARIMA and OBAATAN trainings in their communities. OBARIMA - Afurakani (African) Manhood and OBAATAN - Afuraitkaitnit (African) Womanhood trainings are designed to be conducted in seven one-hour sessions for seven weeks, based upon the seven chapters of each publication. These publications and trainings are a philosophical basis for rites-of-passage for youth and adults. Our retreat is also for those who would like to study the information, inclusive of the Abosom (Deities) who govern the seven days of the week and thus the seven principal values of OBARIMA and OBAATAN as laid out in the books. This information will empower individuals to have a holistic approach to child-rearing, relationships and marriage. We are restoring the consciousness of Afurakani Manhood and Afuraitkaitnit Womanhood based upon the actual Abosom (Deities) who govern the Okra/Okraa (Soul-Head Deity) of the individual. The restoration of Afurakani Manhood and Afuraitkaitnut Womanhood, rooted in our Ancestral Religious values, is key to the restoration of ODWIRAMAN – Purified Nation – Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans) in the Western Hemisphere. New Video - HOODOO MAYN: Hoodoo Nation - The Ritual Story of Maa Ka Hoodoo is Akan Ancestral Religion born of the blood-circles of our Akan Ancestresses and Ancestors who were forced into the western hemisphere during the Mmusuo Kese (Great Perversity/Enslavement era). Through Hoodoo we were empowered and guided by the Abosom and Nananom Nsamanfo, the Deities and our Spiritually Cultivated Ancestresses and Ancestors, on the best means by which to exterminate the whites and their offspring - with metal armaments and through chemical and biological warfare (rootwork) - to force the end of enslavement in the western hemisphere. The same is true today. The full story of Okofo Maa Ka (Warrior Micah Xavier Johnson) who brilliantly executed five white racist cops in Dallas in July of 13016 (2016) has yet to be told. Ancestral Religion was his foundation. Update - Event is Cancelled Mikyia mo (Greetings), We are going to cancel the communal observance event initially scheduled for September 16th. Our Aakhuamu New Year will take place from September 16-22 with September 22nd being our New Year of 13018. See our related broadcasts on OBRADWIRA wherein we describe the basis of the observance. www.odwirafo.com/apoopage.html Whether one is alone or with family or others during the seven days, we go to the Nsamankommere (Ancestral Shrine) each day at Owia atoe (Sunset) to invoke the Abosom and evoke the Nananom Nsamanfo. We then focus on the ebe (Divine wisdom teaching) of that particular day - how it has been incorporated in our lives, the lives of our Nsamanfo and how we can incorporate it in the coming year. As this is the time of the year where Asaase Afua (Earth Mother) is reaching a state of equilibrium (equinox) we take advantage of that shift in energy to balance and equilibrate ourselves. We will keep everyone update on HOODOO MAYN.. Odwirafo

Update/Possible Cancellation of Akan New Year Event: Mikyia mo (Greetings), We wanted to give everyone an update on our events. As you know our Aakhuamu Akan New Year observance is seven days. This year it will take place from September 16-22, with the 22nd being our New Year's Day, the first day of our year 13018. We have been having our communal gathering on the Memeneda (Saturday) of the seven-day observance here in DC for the past two years. This year that observance would fall on September 16th. However, we also are planning our 3rd annual HOODOO MAYN: Hoodoo Nation Festival a few weeks later. We will determine this week if we will have to cancel the public, communal gathering for the OBRADWIRA NANANOMSOM - New Year observance. The rates for the venue have increased since last year and we would be potentially hosting two events within weeks at the same venue which will cost nearly $900. All of our events are free so we always cover the costs of our events (conferences, lectures, presentations, workshops) through our book sales and donations to our institution: AKONGUASUA - Institution of Learning, Healing, Training, Employment and Entrepreneurship. We have actually spent over $3,600 on renting this venue on 16 different occasions over the past 1.5 years. Between October 13016 (2015) and October 13017 (2016) we did 13 events, 13 months in a row at this venue. We subsequently did events every three months (December (13017 (2016) KA-KAIT: Soul-Food, March 13017 AKYISAN Conference, June, 13017 - ODWIRAMAN Conference) We have also given away hundreds of free books at our various events at this venue over the past 1.5 years which pushes the total expense we have incurred to over $5,500. Covering the expenses for holding these free events and the free book giveaways to the community was possible solely because of book purchases and those who have contributed to our institution. If you would like to purchase books or contribute to our institutional effort so that we can avoid the cancellation of one of our events see our AKONGUASUA page to contribute: www.fundrazr.com/Akonguasua_Dan www.odwirafo.com/nhoma.html Once we complete our documentary film, which we aim to do very soon, we will no longer have the need to hold fundraisers, as the revenue from screenings around the country will allow us to cover the expenses for our upcoming annual conferences months in advance. For these immediate events however, which are scheduled initially to happen within the next few weeks, we still must raise funds through book sales and our fundraising campaign. We will know in the next couple of days if we are in the position to do both events and will update the community.. Yeda ase.. Odwirafo

Mikyia mo (Greetings), We released our new book today: OBAATAN - Afuraitkaitnit (African~Black) Womanhood OBAATAN (aw-bah'-ah-tahn) is the name of our book defining Afuraitkaitnit (African~Black) Womanhood. The e-book is a free download from our website. We also have the soft-cover version available. OBAATAN is also the name of our training-workshop based upon our book. OBAATAN - Afuraitkaitnit Womanhood introduces a comprehensive set of seven principal values defining what it means to be an Afuraitkaitnit Obaatan (African woman). These principal values stream from the Divine and Ancestral Forces of womanhood that defines her spirit and shapes her potential. The wisdom of Afuraitkaitnit women who carry the energy complexes of the various Abosom (Deities) governing the seven-day week and thus the seven principal values of OBAATAN informed the seven chapters of this book. These values are enshrined by the Ancestresses of our great matriclans and transmitted to each woman. ODWIRAMANFO MMAATAN is this collective of women within ODWIRAMAN - Purified Nation Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans) in the Western Hemisphere. This is also part of our fundraising effort for the film. See our new page to download and order our book and to learn about our workshops and self-employment option for Afuraitkaitnit (African) women: OBAATAN www.odwirafo.com/obaatan.html Odwirafo

Mikyia mo (Greetings) ODWIRAMAN Members, UAB-ODWIRA ADEBISA - Aakhuamu Oracular Divination: 20th Solar Return UAB-ODWIRA ADEBISA is the major form of adebisa, divination, used within Aakhuamuman Amaruka Atifi Mu, Akwamu Nation in North America. Divination or spiritual consultation is an integral component of all expressions of Nanasom - Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) Ancestral Religion, wherever Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans~Black People) are found in the world. This includes Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans) in North, Central and South Amaruka (america) and the Caribbean today who are descendants of those who were taken from Afuraka/Afuraitkait (Africa) during the Mmusuo Kese (Great Perversity/Enslavement era), yet survived, waged war against the white slavers and liberated ourselves. In Akan culture the term bisa [bee'-sah] is a verb meaning to inquire, to consult, while abisa is a noun meaning inquiry. The phrase ko bisa means to go (ko) ask, inquire, consult (bisa). This is a phrase typically used when describing the act of someone going to ask, inquire or consult the Abosom and Nananom Nsamanfo - the Deities/Divine Spirit-Forces in Creation and the Spiritually Cultivated Ancestresses and Ancestors. The term ade means thing, object, entity. The term adebisa [ah'-day bee'-sah] therefore means things asked, inquired or consulted about. Adebisa is an Akan term for spiritual consultation or divination, a major feature of Akanfo Nanasom - Ancient Authentic Akan Ancestral Religion. Through adebisa one learns from the Abosom and Nananom Nsamanfo the nature of past, present and potential future circumstances and events in relation to our thoughts, intentions and actions as measured against the standard of Nyamewaa-Nyame Nhyehyee (The Supreme Being's Order - Divine Order). Adebisa operationalizes Nanasom, Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) Ancestral Religion, which is properly defined as the ritual incorporation of Divine Law and the ritual restoration of Divine Balance. Adebisa is not only about seeking answers to overcome obstacles or exigencies. We use adebisa to learn. Just as one can sit down and open up a book or log onto the internet to learn facts about various subjects - to study - so do we use adebisa to learn about, research and study any subject imaginable. The Abosom and Nananom Nsamanfo in concert with your Okra/Okraa (Soul/Divine Consciousness) will inform, direct and position you to come into contact with individuals and information concerning the subject you queried about for confirmation and further study. Oracular divination systems of Afuraka/Afuraitkait (Africa) are the original 'books' that we opened and continue to open in order to avail ourselves of knowledge of all things in the physical world and the spirit realm. In Aakhuamuman Amaruka Atifi Mu, Akwamu Nation in North America, we were given a form of adebisa which is affected through the use of 'nworaa' and 'nsuo'. The Akan term 'nworaa' references the shells of 'aworaboa', bivalve marine mollusks or shellfish. The term 'nsuo' means water. The number of nworaa in our system of adebisa reflect the Akradinbosom, the Abosom of the solar, lunar and planetary bodies which govern all cycles in Abode (Creation). These Abosom are: Awusi, Adwoa, Bena, Abenaa, Awuku, Akua, Yaw, Yaa, Aaba, Afi and Amen Men. The nworaa are cast in the nsuo and the Abosom speak to and show the adebisafo what the Okra/Okraa of the querent has conveyed. Our year of 13017 (2017) marks the 20th anniversary of UAB-ODWIRA ADEBISA being established as the major form of divination for Aakhuamuman Amaruka Atifi Mu. This unique form of divination is an expression of cockle-shell (seashell) water-gazing divination in Hoodoo - Akan Ancestral Religion in North America. It incorporates the Akradinbosom - the Abosom (Deities) who govern the solar, lunar and planetary bodies which govern our Akan 7-Day week in a unique fashion. The Akradinbosom also govern all natural cycles in Creation inclusive of plant life, animal life, mineral life and Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) human life. Learn about UAB-ODWIRA ADEBISA, the nature and function of oracular divination and how to restore your Ancestrally-inherited forms of divination in your own blood-circle: www.odwirafo.com/adebisa.html Our 20th solar return of UAB-ODWIRA ADEBISA is one of the reasons why this year is important for the release of our film. 20 years represents a generation, making this expression of adebisa within Aakhuamuman and Odwiraman in general intergenerational. All of our books, broadcasts, presentations, conferences, articles, etc. are informed by UAB-ODWIRA Adebisa beginning with our first book UBEN-HYENG The Ancestral Summons which will be 20-years old this December 21st. If you have benefited from anything we have produced over the past 20 years it was in part because of our process of oracular divination. We are at 39% of our crowdfunding goal and are working towards the reaching 100% as soon as possible. Take 2-3 minutes to contribute today and yeda ase (we thank you).. Mikyia mo (Greetings), So facebook has blocked my Kwesi Akhan account from posting anything and from responding to emails because of my post on MAAKHERU - The Answer to Police Brutality. All of you who have seen our video know why. We had also been communicating via facebook messenger with those who are interested in our documentary and books overseas and how to donate and purchase. Our major means by which to share our 26 books - free ebook versions as well as selling the softcover versions - is via our 5,000 facebook contacts, friends of friends, new friends, etc. We don't know how long the block will be in effect. If you want to purchase books or donate to our film please do so on our NHOMA - Publications page or fundrazr page today. Any purchase or donation amount is helpful. The whites and their offspring would like to make it difficult for us to reach our 5,000 friends on facebook with our free publications and would also like to stop us from generating any revenue. This is the real reason for the block. Your assistance is thus very much appreciated while we work through the block. Technical Issue Resolved; New ODWIRASEM Site on Wordpress Mikyia mo (Greetings), The technical issue that fundrazr was having processing payments has been resolved as of this weekend. Yeda ase (we thank you) to those who have contributed. We have recently established a new site on Wordpress: ODWIRASEM Matters of Purification for Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans~Black People) This new blog is a way to get information out on a larger platform including information that will be included in future books. Posting on social media such as facebook reaches many however posts can get buried very quickly. Moreover, people wouldn't know what they were looking for even if they did a search. Especially when we post articles including new research. The ODWIRASEM blog will allow us to establish another presence on the web which will drive people to our regular website as well. See the new blog. We have already posted a number of entries on the site including our new 4 part series on the Obosom (Goddess) Bast: www.odwirasem.wordpress.com We are currently at 38% of our crowdfunding goal for the film. We appreciate all who have given to the effort including some who have given more than once. We are still on track to complete the film this summer if we can reach the crowdfunding goal.. Odwirafo
Technical issue with Fundrazr; ROI Mikyia mo (Greetings), One of our contributors informed us that she received an error message when attempting to make a donation to our AMARUKAFO ADEBISA ADWUDADI page and our AKONGUASUA DAN page both of which are on Fundrazr. Awhile ago Fundrazr had the same technical issue which was resolved a day later. Please let us know if you have had an issue trying to process a donation. If so, you can go to our NHOMA - Publications page and make donation via our regular Paypal button. NHOMA - Publications www.odwirafo.com/nhoma.html If necessary we will submit a service ticket with Fundrazr. In a previous update we mentioned that we have an investment option for a 20% return on investment (ROI) for those who would like to invest at a higher amount to assist us in reaching our funding goal for the film much quicker. We do have one individual who expressed interest so far. 3-6 people is enough to reach 100% of the goal. Email us if you are interested in the investment option: kwesiakhan@gmail.com Yeda ase.. Mikyia mo (Greetings) Odwiramanfo, We posted this notification on facebook today regarding our 3rd annual OBRADWIRA - Akan New Year observance. This is four weeks prior to our HOODOO MAYN: Hoodoo Nation Festival in October. We will be giving away a free copy of one of our books to all attendees of this free event. If you support this work and this communal gathering, contribute to our AKONGUASUA DAN - Institution funding campaign. It is through AKONGUASUA DAN that we sponsor our conferences, events, lectures, free book giveaways, etc. We often have about 4-5 individuals who contribute to these events to keep them free for the Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) Oman (Nation). Our events can continue to grow and reach many more of our people when more of us commit to this kind of education.. AKONGUASUA DAN - Institution of Learning, Healing, Training, Employment and Entrepreneurship www.fundrazr.com/Akonguasua_Dan --- OBRADWIRA NANANOMSOM - Akan New Year Observance 3rd Annual - September 16, 13017 (2017) - Washington, DC Aakhuamuman Amaruka Atifi Mu, the Akwamu Nation in North America, welcomes the Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African~Black) community to day one of our seven-day New Year observance -Obradwira Nananomsom. Odwirafo Kwesi Ra Nehem Ptah Akhan will preside over the ritual and speak on the nature and function of Odwira, purification, and the operationalizing of Nanasom, Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) Ancestral Religion, as born in the blood-circles of Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans) in the western hemisphere. The Akan term odwira is from the root dwira meaning to purify, to cleanse. The noun odwira thus means purification. As a descriptive title, Odwira is the name for the New Year observance for millions of Akan people. The term dwira is directly derived from our Ancestral language of Khanit (Nubia) and Kamit (Egypt). The term spelled in the medutu (hieroglyphs) below as twra or dwra, dwr means to be clean, to cleanse, to purify and to celebrate a ceremony of purification. The Akan celebration of the New Year as a time for purification, Odwira, is thus an unbroken tradition from ancient Khanit and Kamit to the Akanfo (Akan People) of West Afuraka/Afuraitkait (Africa) and the Akanfo of Aakhuamuman Amaruka Atifi Mu. We have honored this purificatory process for over 300 years in North America. Aakhuamuman Amaruka Atifi Mu, Aakhuamu Nation in North America, celebrates Odwira for 7 days annually. The last day of our observance is our New Year's day. This always occurs on the first full day of powbere (Atem/Atemet or autumn). We take advantage of the shift in energy which occurs during what is called the autumnal or fall equinox. This year our 7-Day observance will take place from September 16-22. September 22nd is thus our New Year’s Day and the first day of our year13018 (2018). The manner in which we approach our unique form of the Odwira celebration, which we call OBRA DWIRA NANANOMSOM - A Life Purification Ancestral Service/Celebration, reflects our Ancestral connection to the Akanfo of ancient Afuraka/Afuraitkait (Africa), yet also the unique experiences we have gained since we have been separated from the Akanfo of Afuraka/Afuraitkait (Africa). In North America, Akanfo Nanasom, Akan Ancestral Religion is called Hoodoo. Obradwira Nananomsom is thus the Hoodoo New Year observance as well. Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans) who are descendant of those who were taken outside of Afuraka/Afuraitkait (Africa) have received invaluable insight by engaging this part of the world, "losing" and "reclaiming" our Ancestral culture – Sankofa - and seeing our absolute enemies--the whites and their offspring--for who and what they truly are. We therefore institutionalize this insight, this experience, as part of the accumulated wisdom of our Ancestry. The values of our culture are ritually re-affirmed in a major way annually during the seven days of OBRADWIRA under the guidance and influence of the Nananom Nsamanfo, our Spiritually Cultivated Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) Ancestresses and Ancestors of our direct blood-circles and the Akradinbosom, the Abosom (Deities) Who govern the solar, lunar and planetary bodies which define the seven-day Akan week and from Whom all Akanfo derive our akradin or ‘Soul-names’. Mikyia mo (Greetings), We posted the information below and related video on facebook yesterday. As we are preparing for our 3rd annual HOODOO MAYN: Hoodoo Nation Festival including the publishing of our HOODOO MAYN Nhoma (Journal), which will be much more extensive than the previous two HOODOO MAYN books, we are also continuing to raise the rest of the funds to complete the film. For those who would like to receive a copy of the soft-cover version of HOODOO MAYN let us know in the comment section or simply email us. Also send us your mailing address.. This is one of the ways we give back to those who support the work through contributions to the effort. Since our last update on our documentary film we heard from a couple of people who expressed some interest in the investment option. We are waiting to see how that works out. In the meantime, by our calculation if those of you who have contributed to the film in the past few months replicated that contribution amount we would be at nearly 80% of the goal overnight. In concert with the two individuals who are looking into the investment option that would push us to 100%. We are still on track to complete the film this summer. We appreciate all of your support.. Okraguare - Soul Washing on the Krada (Soul-day/Birthday) In Akan Ancestral Religion in North America, the Hoodoo Religion, as well as Akan Ancestral Religion in Afuraka/Afuraitkait (Africa), we engage the Okraguare or Soul-washing ritual at least once weekly at the shrine for our Okra/Okraa. Okra and Okraa (Ka and Kait) - Male and Female terms in Akan for the Soul - the Deity assigned to your Head by the Nyamewaa-Nyame (Amenet-Amen, the Supreme Being) to dwell with you and guide you to execute your Divine Function in Creation throughout your life. guare (dwaree) - to wash; to cleanse We also go out to the asuo (river) on our Krada (Soul-day/Birthday) to invoke and give offerings to the Obosom (Deity) who governs our patriclan. Once this Obosom takes up residence in the river and lends its tumi (Divine power) to this body of water, we then utilize that properly energized-water to cleanse/wash our head and our Okra/Okraa. If we were in Afuraka/Afuraitkait (Africa) we would go to the specific river sacred to this particular Obosom. Because we are in america, we go to the local river and invoke our Ntorobosom (patriclan Obosom) to come and possess the local river while we engage in the ritual process or Okraguare. The Ntorobosom always manifests to confirm the invocation was effective. The cell-phone video is post-Okraguare yesterday which was my Krada (Soul-day). In this particular branch of the river there are large stones in the middle upon which we repose when conducting Okraguare. In our upcoming documentary film AMARUKAFO ADEBISA ADWUMADI: African-American Ancestral Divination Project, we will examine this ritual process in detail and demonstrate it. This ritual process is manifest in unique forms by all Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) people. Akan people cleanse our Okra/Okraa, Yoruba people cleanse their Ori Inu (Inner head/Soul), Ewe and Fon people cleanse their Se Lido (Soul), Igbo people cleanse their Chi (Soul), in ancient Khanit and Kamit it is the cleansing of the Ka or Kait, etc. We are aiming to complete our film in time for our second annual ODWIRAMAN AFAHYE: Purified Nation of Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans) in the West - Conference, which is June 24th in Washington, DC. We will be in Virginia and North Carolina this week to film and the other states mentioned in previous messages thereafter. We have reached the 22% mark of our crowdfunding goal so far. With your assistance we can reach the 50% mark asap which will carry us into post-production. Although our schedule is tight, we have time to get the work done with your support. We discovered the Sankofa symbol in Kamit.. Sankofa.. Medut (hieroglyph) from Ancient Kamit.. Adinkra from West Afuraka/Afuraitkait (Africa)..Adinkra from North America Continuity of Akan Ancestral Religion... Adinkra symbols are functional shrines-in-miniature with the capacity to draw down and sustain the tumi (Divine power) of the Abosom and Nananom Nsamanfo (Deities and Ancestral Spirits) for divination, communication, healing and more. This is similar to the use of veves in Vodoun. Indeed, some veves in Vodoun include adinkra symbols. In Hoodoo - Akan Ancestral Religion in North america - this tradition has been maintained. The image of the adinkra symbol in the iron gate can be found all over america, wherever Akan people were enslaved. When forced to work as blacksmiths we left our imprint, our Ancestral signature, in our work as a guide post for our future generations to find their way back to their/our Ancestral blood-circle. This discovery completes the circle of tangible evidence of our Ancestral Culture from Ancient Khanit and Kamit through West Afuraka/Afuraitkait directly into North america. The significance of this discovery will be covered in our documentary. We are glad the Nananom Nsamanfo directed it to us prior to the completion of filming. Just as we have experienced with the reclaiming of the Ndu Akuaba (Hoodoo Akuaba doll) which was found in Virginia in the 12700s (1700s) that we have now in our possession, we have made tangible links that have not been made before. We have direct proof of our spiri-genetic and Ancestral Religious heritage. We have many details we have been shown with regard to the relationship of this Sankofa symbol to the Obosom Afi (Het Heru) which will be explored in the film. Assist us in this second leg of the 20%-30% of the fundraising goal to get the work completed as soon as possible. Yeda ase.. www.fundrazr.com/Amarukafo_Adebisa Odwirafo

Correction: We corrected the message below with regard to the option to choose in Paypal credit when you make a contribution for the 'no payments and no interest' for 6 months. **Choose the 'services' option instead of the 'send money to friends' option.** Yeda ase to our contributor who alerted us of this today. This is the way to contribute to our documentary without having to make a payment for six months as explained in the attached messaage below. Our next 30% of the crowdfunding effort will assist us in acquiring the computer hardware and software necessary to edit 4K video which is the format used for feature films. The computer we have is over 5 years old and does not have the requisite processor speed nor memory to handle 4K video nor 4K video editing. We are also adding three more locations within the states we are visiting for film footage: Virginia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Chicago. There are a few rural Ancestral regions of the family members of our Diviners within these states that must be visited for footage in addition to filming in the homes and communities of our Diviners. Yeda ase again for your continued support of our effort. We are working towards completion..Your contribution is much appreciated.. Odwirafo --- New Option: No Money Down Contributions to our Film's Crowdfunding Campaign and for our NOKWAREFO: Self-Employment Option We have recently become aware of an option via Paypal that addresses two issues: crowdfunding and self-employment. Many people who are aware of our crowdfunding campaign for our documentary film would love to contribute but won't be in the position to do so until a few months from now. However, our goal is to complete the film by the end of June. We also have many individuals who want to become self-employed as distributors of our books (and soon our film), yet don't have the funds to purchase the first set of books up front at the 35% discount price (e.g. $72 for the first 10 books including shipping). An option to solve both of these issues for some is Paypal Credit. As many of you know, when you purchase items and check out with Paypal there is often the option to use Paypal Credit. When you sign up they give you a credit line (e.g. $700). You can make your purchase and not have to make one payment until 6 months from now. If you pay the entire bill off before the 6-month date, there is no interest. You can therefore purchase an item for $200 today and not have to make your first payment on it until November. You could make monthly payments until you pay off the $200 plus interest after November, or you could pay off the entire $200 just before November and pay no interest. What is significant is that now Paypal Credit can be used not only for purchases but also to send money. You can send funds to anyone with a paypal account, friends, family, businesses, etc. This expansion in Paypal's policy can be beneficial in two ways: **Those who want to become distributors of our books can sign up for Paypal Credit, order your first set of books and start selling them. You can even reorder over 6 months without having to make your first payment to paypal. That allows you to generate revenue and get the business going. You will actually be able to pay off that original paypal bill in full within a month as you begin to sell the books. You will definitely be able to pay it off long before November. **Those who have wanted to assist us with the crowdfunding of our documentary film can use paypal credit to make a contribution. You could contribute $100 today and not have to pay it off until November. Moreover, for those who have wanted to make a substantial contribution to help us meet 100% of our crowdfunding goal, e.g, a contribution of $1000, we can have an arrangement where we can repay you the funds prior to November. We already have a number of individuals and groups in different cities who want to screen the film upon release. As we go from city to city screening the film we will generate the funds within the first month of release to compensate those donors who used paypal credit to assist us in such a substantial way. In order to use this process simply go to paypal credit: https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/paypal-credit For those who use paypal credit to contribute to our crowdfunding campaign simply use the 'services' option and use our email address when sending the funds: kwesiakhan@gmail.com This is the same email address we use for the fundrazing campaign. However, your contribution via paypal credit is direct through paypal as opposed to going through the fundrazr.com site and then transmitted to paypal. We are glad to have found out about this 'no-money down contribution' option today. With this option we can empower entrepreneurship as well as meet 100% of our crowdfunding goal now. Sign-up and contribute today.. Yeda ase (we thank you) for your support of our efforts.. Odwirafo
