Ceta Millington hasn't added a story.

hello

George is a 2yr old white mosaic male chinchilla,he is the most sweetest, loving little boy you could ever hope to meet,he's such a special chinchilla and I'll tell you why... I'm George's owner,my name is Ceta,I'm 35yrs old and I'm registered disabled, life hasn't been kind... My mother abandoned me on the icy grass of our then family home when I was just 4days old, leaving my elderly (60yr old) father to raise me and subsequently my older sister too single handed,it was hard growing up under these circumstances, feeling like a reject, like something was so wrong with me that not even my own mother wants me or could love me,I was molestered by a mutual friend of both of my parents at around 4-6yrs old, raped at 8yrs old,I rebelled against all the authorities and adults in my life from the age of 11yrs old as I blamed them for not stopping or even noticing what happened to me,I ended up getting into trouble and got too much for my elderly father (who was now in his early 70s) to cope with and was put into temporary care within our local authorities,I got in with the wrong crowd and got into even more trouble and the wrong crowd turned on me and a group of 6 physically attacked me and forced me into their car and drove me home where they forced their way into my family home and stole numerous items and physically attacked my sister and my elderly father,we were so terrified that we had to voluntarily give up our family home and everything we owned and uproot ourselves from everything and everyone we knew to leave the entire borough and move,we were separated and placed between homeless hostels and abused women's refuges,as we were desperately searching for a new family home in other boroughs I was taken very ill and had to be admitted into hospital, this is when it was discovered that I was actually pregnant,I was just 15yrs old but even at such a young age I knew I couldn't cope with even considering something like an abortion and so continued with the pregnancy,we finally found a home for us,but at 15yrs old in a completely new borough and 7months pregnant my father and I had an argument and my father kicked me out, luckily a neighbour across the road took me in and that's where I stayed until I went into labour, following the birth of my baby my father requested I come back home,he said that I shouldn't have to rely on the help of other people when my own family can help me,so we agreed to put the silly argument behind us and move on for the sake of my baby girl, within the first couple of weeks of me moving home my father got himself a property of his own and moved out leaving me with a newborn baby on my own with just my sister (who I didn't get on with one bit) for support,I was devastated,a few weeks later my sister got herself a new property and was moving out with the help of my father,I was so distraught and in a desperate bid to get my "family" to see that I couldn't cope on my own I put my daughters Moses basket in front of their taxi and stood behind her begging and pleading for them not to leave me,not to abandon me as my mother did,but the taxi just drove around us,I burst out crying and not thinking straight I ran inside sobbing my heart out,I had no idea that a trainee nurse and a trainee social worker would walk past (although for my daughters sake I'm glad they did),I heard voices outside and thought my father and sister had returned to help me with my new baby as they promised to,but when I looked out of the window I saw 2 strangers picking my baby up and start walking off with her,I ran outside and took my baby off the strangers and took her home where I sat with her crying and apologising frantically at the thought of what could've happened, next thing I know social services were at my door (understandably so),I was a inexperienced, naive young girl at my lowest,I had already told my doctor that I felt I wasn't coping and was feeling suicidal and that was before any of this, the social worker convinced me to let them take my daughter for 1week voluntarily so that I could sort myself out,in the best interests of my daughter I agreed, the social worker returned and requested I sign a document to give them medical consent so that if my daughter needs any medical attention they're able to take her,I believed and trusted the social worker and signed the paper, when I requested my daughters return they refused and it later became apparent that the papers I signed wasn't for medical consent at all,the papers were to give social services parental rights over my daughter, over the next few years I fought against social services every step of the way,I jumped through every hoop that they put in front of me but the bar was always moved,i finally did manage to get my daughter back and we moved into our new home,I thought my life was finally moving forward again, but then I got caught pregnant again at 17yrs old,I thought I really loved the father but it was never reciprocated, after my 2nd daughter was born I got very low again and the baby's father was taking drugs and even leaving drugs around my home, and his family was coming round at 11pm and staying until the early hours of the morning,I had a toddler and a newborn to care for,I wasn't sleeping and my relationship was in a bad place, the baby's father was clearly taking advantage,I became suicidal and went on to try and take my own life, during this social services took my children,I then felt I had nothing more to live for and made several more attempts at taking my own life and also began self harming regularly, the relationship with my baby's father ended,a psychiatric report was ordered on me by the courts in the children's court battle, this is when I was finally diagnosed with manic depression/bipolar disorder,I was just 18yrs old,at that point social services should've allocated me a mental health social worker but instead just kept on ripping my family apart,I then went on to meet and marry my husband,we had 3 more children together and I got my youngest daughter back,my 2nd daughter was now living with her paternal grandparents,as soon as the ring went on my finger my husband showed his true colours,he went on to physically, mentally, emotionally, and even sexually abused me throughout our 5 and a half year marriage, soon after the abuse started I was diagnosed as also suffering from severe Agoraphobia,I won't go into too much detail on the abuse I suffered at the hands of my husband as it's still pretty raw for me as I've never dealt with it,i couldn't tell anyone what was happening as I feared that social services would use it to take my children from me again so I suffered in silence,I finally got the strength to leave and with it came the truth about my marriage, and social services took my children as predicted, this time they promised that it was only an overnight provision but that was a lie too,I became suicidal again and was only saved by my neighbour/good friend who was concerned about me as she hadn't seen my curtains open or seen me all over the Christmas period, just 9days after my 25th birthday I got a call from my sister (who literally never calls me,I didn't even know it was her until I answered as I didn't even have her number) she told me my father had passed away,I collapsed on the stairs as she said those earth shattering words,my father and I may not have always got on but he was my world,I idolised him, needless to say I made a few more attempts on my life and the self harming went from bad to worse, but once again I couldn't even commit suicide correctly,I went on to get taken advantage of by someone I thought to be a friend,I thought I was helping a friend who had nowhere else to stay, but instead it transpired that this "friend" was a drug dealer and was using my home to sell his drugs from, when I confronted him both he and his girlfriend beat me and bullied me,they would even forcefully escort me to collect my money and take my money off me leaving me starving and suicidal again, the police finally raided my home,I was distraught but felt relieved that this nightmare was finally over, but they didn't believe what I told them and so I got evicted and lost every single thing that I owned including everything I kept of my children's (which was pretty much everything including their bedroom that hadn't been touched since that dreadful day that they were taken from me) and the few things I had of my beloved father, all I had was literally the clothes I stood in,I was luckily found a room in a homeless hostel, this is where I met my current partner,he had gone through similar experiences and was now in the same position as me,we've been together 6yrs now, during which time my partner has been and still is my full time carer too,we moved into our first home together but it's sadly full of damp, mould, and water leakage and is constantly wrecking our personal belongings that we've struggled to get in the first place aswell as being responsible for the great deterioration in both of our health, each day is a constant struggle for us with my health problems (I also suffer from severe sciatica, slipped disc, and Scheuermanns disease from a accident that occurred 3 and a half years ago too) and it's also been and still is a constant financial struggle as we've both had to start from scratch both with personal items like clothes and footwear etc aswell as things like home furnishings and appliances etc,but as for this relationship I can honestly say that I've never been happier,I feel loved for the first time in my life, and he's never even so much as raised his voice to me let alone his fist,he even got me my very first chinchilla as I'd previously told him how my daughter and I would stand looking and admiring the chinchillas in our local pet store for hours, but we were told by the previous owner that it was a male chinchilla,so we got a male cagemate as my chinchilla book said they thrive with chinchilla company, but one day we found twin baby chinchillas so obviously one of our males wasn't a male (and that wasn't piggy backing that they were doing in their cage) so after consulting my book again I sexed the first chinchilla as the female and the twin babies were sexed as females too,the book said to keep dad with mum chinchilla and babies as dad helps mum care for the babies,so dad was kept with mum until the baby's were removed from mums cage at 3months old,but a month or so later we found another 4 baby chinchillas, sadly 1 died within the first 24hrs and another was very weak,I searched all over the Internet messaging anyone I could for help or advice on how to help this tiny baby, that's when I met a truly amazing lady called Linda,Linda and her equally amazing husband John run a chinchilla rehoming and rescue centre and immediately advices me on how to hand feed the baby, but the baby's poos were very runny instead of poos similar to rabbit droppings, the runny poos made the baby's bum very sore so we took the baby chinchilla to our local private vet as soon as we could afford to as we couldn't chance traveling on public transport as chinchillas die from stress quite easily and we don't have our own transport, the vet sold us some dog cream, but the cream was oil based instead of water based so the baby frantically tried biting the cream off her bum and even ripped her skin off,the vet almost killed the baby with this as the baby chinchilla bit her bum so much that it almost suffered a rectal prolapse,Linda and John from chinsRus rescue and rehoming travelled over 200miles at 11pm to come and collect the baby as they knew just how serious the situation was for this tiny baby,I'll never forget what they've done for us or the baby who is now 2yrs old and is now Linda and johns personal baby, this baby was Angel, she is George and Spots sister from the same litter,we went through hell just to get them where they are now,but it is so worth it! After this Linda advised us to get dad castrated and identified where we were going wrong,it seems the chinchilla book I have and the information contained within this book is outdated,so we got dad castrated, dad was given the all clear but still developed a huge abscess on the wound site which is questionable to say the least, dad was operated on but the vet still said he was going to die,we wasn't about to give up on him so we used the last money we had to get a 2nd opinion,we fought with everything we had and he survived,it seemed like things were looking up,after dad recovered we checked with the vet if it was ok to put dad back with mum and was told it would be fine, but apparently (as we ended up with yet another 3 baby chinchillas) you have to wait a certain amount of time for any remaining sperm that may be left in the pipes to die before putting them back together, the 3new babies that were born as a result of the same incompetent vet (which we have now vowed never to use Hillmans vets again) were discovered as we heard fighting, mum was so drained from having 3 consecutive litters that she just couldn't produce enough milk for the babies,so we sadly had to intervene and hand feed and rotate feed the 3 babies,we didn't eat or sleep properly for those 3-4months as we wasn't about to let the babies die,but again it was so worth it,we now have 9 chinchillas to care for,we made a commitment to the 2 original chinchillas we bought and as the babies were a result of that and were born in our care that commitment extends to them too,it gets extremely hard and extremely exhausting but they're our babies,I can't have no more children so I now dote on my chinchillas as my own, they help to fill a void in my life, and they help me get through each day and give me a reason to get up each morning,I hope you can understand what I mean. But now little Georgey needs urgent medical help or he will die,his cage door broke while we was at one of my hospital appointments and George chewed on a plugged in power cord and got electrocuted, the electrocution has caused Malocclussion in the molars which is most certainly fatal, but I've located the best exotics vet in my country about 10miles from where I live,we used every spare penny we have to pay for the initial consultation, pain relief and a nutrition supplement for chinchillas called oxbow critical care, the vet is very worried about him and wants to anaesthetise him and do X-rays initially which cost over £300,and then there's treatment on top of that which will most likely include life saving surgery,so we need around £1000 but we literally have no money and no way to raise it,it breaks my heart,I walk into the living room each morning dreading to find my little boy dead with his brother sat next to him,it's absolutely killing me,I can't lose him,he was named after my beloved father,he's all I have left to remember my father by,I can't lose him, please,I'm so sorry to have to ask for help but I just don't know what else to do,so please, give if you can,and share as much as possible, please I'm begging you,it only takes a minute of your time. I will list and thank any donators below. Thank you ever so much for taking the time to read and the heart to understand.
