FUNDRAISING TO GET MYLES HOME

I am one of the aunts of Myles Litchmore-Dunbar, who is languishing in a Greek prison, awaiting trial for a crime that he did not commit.

We are raising funds for ongoing legal fees and to fund the transport costs of defence witnesses.

I am joining the "MILES FOR MYLES CHALLENGE" and I will be DRESSING UP AS A SUPER HERO on Saturday 20th September, travelling by bus and shopping in my local TESCO'S, all in character..........

I would be grateful if you would PLEASE SPONSOR ME.

Video and photographs will be uploaded to FaceBook on the "MILES FOR MYLES CHALLENGE" event page.

WHY ARE WE DOING WHAT WE'RE DOING?

Prior to July 22nd 2013, Myles Litchmore Dunbar was an anonymous 19 year old university student, investing in his future and excited to be embarking upon a modelling career. Myles was on course to a wonderful life but a holiday to the Greek island of Malia ended in tragedy when fellow Brit, Tyrell Matthews-Burton was killed during a bar fight.

Myles, who had tried to break up the fight, found himself wrongfully accused of Tyrell’s murder and cruelly catapulted into the midst of the Greek legal system. Despite there being no forensic evidence to link him to the crime and in defiance of witness statements maintaining that he had acted as a ‘peacemaker’, Myles has been remanded in custody since July 2013.

Family and friends have been campaigning with the primary aim to ensure that the Greek authorities act in accordance with legal procedure and release Myles. Furthermore, we need to be able to guarantee that he is subject to a fair and transparent process, that the true facts of the case are realised and that Myles is fully exonerated.

A trial date has now been set for the 17th October, where we need to see Myles finally exonerated. Witnesses have come forward who confirm Myles innocence, but they have to be flown to Greece to give evidence at the trial and so we are continuing to raise funds to pay for their flights, accommodation and ongoing legal costs to represent him.
