Hello, we are Story of a Life! We are an Atlanta-based band dedicated to bringing you a progressive blend of jazzy and funky originals.

Our debut CD is to be released on 7/26, but we need your help! After mixing expenses, we still need $1500 to manufacture CDs, t-shirts, posters, and other merch! We are trying to reach this goal before our cd release party, but even getting close to our goal will allow us to have cds available in time.

Please donate what you can! We have a variety of perks for helping us meet our goal, that you will receive no matter what within 6 weeks of your donation! A $5 donation will earn you a digital download of our single, "Continental Blue." $10 will get you a digital copy of the entire album! $25 donations will receive a t-shirt and a digital copy of the album. For $35, you get a signed hard copy of the CD and a t-shirt! Anyone daring enough to donate $500 or more will receive a free private concert at their home (up to 150 miles from Atlanta. Any further will require travel expenses that we can negotiate), and a hard copy signed by the band, and a t-shirt!

If we happen to exceed our goal, the rest of the money will go to manufacturing even more merch, and possibly even getting a tour bus (a band can dream...).

SOAL has been around since 1997. This is when Sean Tonar (guitar) met Thor (drums). Since then, lots of time, effort, patience, and practice has gone into the crafting and recording of each song on this CD. With the more recent additions of Bill Graham (keys), and Stephen Cox (bass) and their contributions to these recordings, the songs have developed into something well worth sharing with the world.

Having a CD is the first step for us to be able to make our dreams a reality. This simply packaged artistic statement will allow us to reach new people, venues, and give us a way to grow and continue making our art. The possibility of touring becomes a reality with the existence of the Story of a Life CD and merchandise: we have something to build our fan base, as well as things to market to our audience at each show! This allows us to play more original shows without starving! :)
